- Bridges bridges bridges! We make our way south on the Atlantic Nora coastal waterway ICW on our 341 Meridian from downtown West Palm Beach to Lake Boca in Boca Raton Florida.
We have to go under a bunch of bridges as we navigate our Florida mini loop adventure. On this leg, we tackle a half dozen or so. One being so close we were afraid of hitting it so Brigitt pops her head up top to check our clearance.
We make it to lake Boca where we plan to spend a day or so, anchor and do some paddle boarding. Brigitt shows off her new floatation devices.
Join the crew as we take the Florida Mini Loop from Cape Coral, though Lake Okeechobee, down the east coast to the Florida Keys and back home along the Gulf of Mexico.

Such a nice and easy trip. Bridges and Navionics don't match up, even on our lake it is off. Great time thanks again!
Prime Catch is a great place to eat! I'm enjoying your videos.
Loved the video. My Brother lived in Boca right around the corner from Lake Boca.
Ww spent alot of time boating on the ICW and the different rivers/back water.
He passed recently and I haven't been over since. (I live in Sarasota).
Seeing those familiar waterways and homes brought tears to my eyes.
Thank you for helping with wonderful memories of him and our time spent together boating in Boca. ❤
Sorry for your loss. We explore Lake Boca area much more in the next video. Hope to bring more memories!
Had a house on Boca for 12 years or so, loved it, often visit the Lake Boca Sandbar, opposite the pink building, the swish Boca Raton Beach Club, you can see.
So glad you're enjoying it.
Fair winds and following seas, Captain 👍
Great video. Love seeing all the expensive waterfront homes and cruising the calm waters of the ICW
Love Boynton Beach area. The Two Georges is a great lunch place and so is the Banana Boat.
yep great video of the rich and famous. captain Tom you are a great navigator hope to see more enjoy them very much as always stay safe alk in Michigan
Another great video! Keep them coming! Awesome real estate down there.
The nicest houses we saw on this trip were in Boca.
I 'm enjoying you guys videos. Giving me ideas when I arrive to Sarasota.
You two (three) are doing awesome going under those bridges! Yikes on that one. It's fun looking at all those beautiful homes.
Great stuff. I love watching the adventure.
Hello, when you get down to Ft. Lauderdale, consider Lake Sylvia for anchorage. Enjoy.
I'm enjoying this new loop. you guys should go up through Mobile, Alabama and then up the Tombigbee waterway and take the Tennessee river all the way to Knoxville. Really cool trip that I've done and a lot of cool locks to go through. And Awesome mountainous views once you get in Tennessee.
Love these videos!!
I’m am enjoying your videos very much. I have gone back and viewed them from the beginning until now. I certainly miss those days when we used to be on the water all the time. Unfortunately age catches up with you after a while. I would like to know if your willing to share what you did before you retire to Cape Coral. We saw on an episode that Admiral Brigitt was with Verizon. I am a retired asst. Fire Chief. Keep up the great videos and enjoy your retirement.
I am also retired from Verizon. I was an operations manager.
Glad you got the generator sorted out!
Great job ❤
Some incredible real estate down there- used to vacay down there many moons ago.
Interesting to know some of the bridges were marked the wrong clearance. Good to know.
Yikes! Those bridge passages are real butt clenchers!
Enjoying your latest adventure BUT you really should have used the time on the day dock in West Palm to Uber to main Palm Beach on “the island”. The shopping on Worth Avenue and the number of wonderful restaurants provide an experience that oozes eye opening class -much different from West Palm.
Great content! FYI Bridget is holding the paddle backwards while on the SUP(paddle board).🏄♀️
Yes she’s still learning. Lol
Thanks for sharing your trip it was very interesting to watch
How long was the whole trip on the ICW from NY to Fla in time ? Had to take weeks right?
NY to Florida was about 6 weeks. Stopped along the way for breaks here and there.
Veterans park is in Delray Beach
I would have had a ton of solar on that rig. Even a pair of 250W panels would probably keep a decent power bank (Delta 2 pro) topped off.
Traveling from Boynton bch. to Miami one of the bridges had the bridge tender napping and would not open, called the police and after 15 min.they woke him up and the bridge finally opened.
Just stumbled upon your channel. My wife and I were wondering, since you have some directional signs at your home with one of them saying Buffalo, is that where you are from? We are currently at Port of the islands Marina here in Naples, on our boat. Enjoy the videos. By the way, yes I am from Buffalo originally.
We have each visitor at our house paint a sign. We are from NY so many friends and family from there too. Friends of ours met in Buffalo so painted that sign.
Thanks again! At what point are you in the loop? Half way? More, less?
This is almost to half way point.
What books/charts did you use to plot your course?
Navionics boating app is my go to for plotting courses. The Waterway Guide I used for helping find anchorages and free docks.
Here’s what I don’t get about that particular pfd, assuming Bridget can swim and doesn’t need one normally and would only need indie if she’s knocked unconscious, how do you pull the cord if your knocked out lol
Agreed.
First!!!
lol second
Old!
Why the one engine ?
Save gas and wear/tear/ engine hours.
Beware The non running prop transmission can be an issue…I’m sure you checked
@tonymarx28 yes I researched that prior. The transmissions can free wheel without issue according to the manual.
I get a kick with people who comment on how expensive stuff is when they pay people 125,000 dollars a month to watch their videos.???
You guys look relaxed and having fun. By the way, he’s not President Trump. Ex President Trump.
Exactly what I thought lol
Former President and Next President!!
Mr. Trump who belongs in jail.
Where do all those people get the money to afford all those fancy houses? I heard South Florida is one of the most corrupt places in the world, probably second only to Washington, DC.
It’s called hard work and taking risk
@@MOTORVESSELFREEDOM Or you can be like the guy in Mar-a-Lago, inherit it and not pay taxes.

Nice to be able to go boating during the week if it was the weekend too many boats
Wow, lot of $ in real estate in that area. Continued safe travels.🛟✅
