Woodmizer MP360 4 side planer start up.
This the first time wood was run through the machine. The pieces used in this video are to assess machine thickness and width setting and use them to calibrate the machine. A few passes will be need to adjust and remove material from all 4 sides.
The initial pieces needed a depth adjustment to remove material from the top side.
Starting up the machine, I started the motors too quickly and caused a fault. Then I started the motors, waited about 10 seconds per motor to start and not fault out the machine.

We haven’t used many spline joints over the years, so I don’t have a video.
What is the application where you are thinking to use a spine joint?

Would love to know where to get some of those add on pressure rollers you have on the infeed and outfeed tables. Those are slick! A big step up from feather boards

This is what I purchased and I use it to run the WM500 blower too but I have to start in sequence so not to fault out.
