Doug, try using straight water instead of WD-40 for your drilling. The thing that dulls the bits is the heat, keep the bit cool and it will cut forever. I didn't believe it till I tried it, bonus is it's easier to clean up afterward too!
Maybe try the tracks without the portals.. Might eliminate some of that "leverage" issue as well as the extra gear reduction... Maybe a little too much work to take the portals off???

Also with tracks if you aren't in power and are in hard pack they heat up alot and you can ruin them ostacruiser has a video riding in hard pax snow and over heated the metal on the tracks and ruined them got so hot changed the color of the metal because now powder snow was hitting it so I can imagine how hot they would get in the summer riding in dirt they deff need to be in deep powder your mud and water to keep them cool

Look up Gilliam tuning (spelling could be wrong) for ranger tune saw they can get it up to 120 hp with cams or 100 hp with just tune

Almost any other oil would serve better for drill lubricant. Wd40 evaporates at a really low temp relative to other lubricants
I think you need to get a set of mad tracks with extra large spindles so you can get up the speed ratio have fun
