Randy is hardly annoying, he approaches nicely.
Imagine your supervisor steps in on your sale. It's definitely not optimal
The consultants [may want to ask Randy a question, but if you watch closely, every time that happens he ends up being the only one to deal with the bride.
That is because Randy is very personal with the bides to be. Very caring
It’s cute and it’s sweet, but it’s reality TV and they have to generate a little drama.
Randy is great but he was annoying this time.
Carmela needs to check her ego and realize it's not about her but the bride. Randy was just trying to help. He doesn't mean to step on another consultant's toes when he realizes he can possibly help out a bride find her dress. Face it, he has far greater knowledge of dresses available there.
I think Carmela got fired from both the production and the store a few episodes down the line lol. That certainly would’ve burst her ego.
In this case, Carmela was right in that I’m not convinced that bride truly liked that dress. I think she liked it the best out of the ones she tried, but I don’t think she was sold on it 100%… she just went along with it because she got a deal on it and Randy told her she looked great on it. It was pretty… I didn’t hate it, but it was nothing like what she asked for.
@@graphiquejackI agree with you on that part. I don't think she was sold on the dress and she did ask for lace. But sometimes what we ask for ends up what we didn't want after all.
I would be upset also if another worker took over my client.
@dawnvalentine74 Yes, but Randy is hardly another co-worker. He knows that place and those dresses like the back of his hand. It's not an ego thing. It's to help the bride.
"I've showed her everything at her price point" come on 😂 That shop is huuuuge. Surely there is more.
Everything at her price point based on what the bride said she wanted. Everyone is blaming Carmel but the bride did say she wanted lace and v neck so Carmel went with it. But I think Carmel should have went a different direction after a few lace dresses.
Not really. The bride was at a disadvantage with her budget. $2200 is not a price point where there is a large selection. Not Klenfeld’’s fault. I watch the show all the time. Most brides with a little high budget have no problem. Simple. The girl settled. She seemed resigned to it.
I love me some Randy!!! You want a guy like him around. We call him a veteran bc he knows his stuff
Yeah, but he sure wasn't a veteran during this episode. He was very new on this job.
That bride seemed forced into choosing, she didn’t even seem that happy
After trying so many dresses that just did not work and looked too old for her, it was wonderful for Randy to come in with fresh eyes to help find the dress. You should not be upset that he helped land a beautiful dress, instead swallow your pride and learn from this experience. The dress looked beautiful and classy and fit her youthfulness perfectly.
Ditto
She didn’t seem to like it, though. I guess as long as Randy is happy it’s all good.
*Most of the consultants go to Randy for help* Then some consultants get annoyed if *Randy* helps w/o asking. *Randy* isn’t the type to take ur commission away 🤦🏼♂️
Not a fan of the "crumb catcher" dress. It doesn't appear that she was really thrilled with any dress. I think the dress she wore at her elopement was cute.
I agree... It looked a bit straight jacket to me. But I think she'll glow on the big day and make it beautiful.
It looked like nothing more nor less than a Walmart bag without the store's logo on it.
That dress looks better on a busty girl. I hope alterations worked wonders. I think the lace cream dress was nice on her.
Ick!
This is an old episode. The crumb catcher neckline was one of those weird fads from 2010 that, thankfully, disappeared quickly and has never come back
Carmel is so spiteful of Randy. Small people behave like that, someone else would have been grateful for his help.
Randy is one of a kind, hence still being in the business😊
She is maybe jalous
Well, she’s doing the work, if he sells the dress, she loses part or all of the commission, so there’s a real reason for her to resent having help.
I didn’t like the dress as much as others. The extra ruffles on the back and the crumb catcher ruffle on front just looks unfinished
I'm always shocked when parents don't expose their kids to old movies/music. That was part of the fun to show them stuff from my generation of entertainment...or musicals from long ago.
I think it's hard because often kids just say it's boring or not cool and don't listen. You gotta do it in a way that it's fun and discrete.
@@MsJubjubbird Or you start them young. We had Friday Night Burgers & a Movie Night from the time they were about 5. Age appropriate of course but by the time they were teens they enjoyed John Hughes or Jimmy Stewart.
Just, if we share what we had growing up - it causes curiosity and learning. And a deeper knowledge of their world. Writers wrote what they knew.
a rare miss from randy. the consultant was right, that dress did not look good on her. honestly i think crumb catchers look ridiculous in general, but she just looked absurd, especially for a military wedding. from what she was describing and what she liked and didn't like, i don't know why they didn't look for an illusion v-neck, one of those ones where the straps are floral embroidery that kind of blends into the dress. she's small-busted so she needs something that accentuates her bust instead of hiding it like the crumb catcher and ruching. and she didn't seem to love randy's pick either, "i guess i'll get it"? not to mention repeatedly bothering that other bride for a dress that wasn't even what caitlin asked for.
The bride had a low budget. If you go to Kleinfeld's with a $2200 budget you're lucky that they have anything to show you at all.
That was back in 2009, so a $2,209 budget wasn’t that bad. I have seen beautiful dresses there for under $2,500 and the bride is beautiful. They could have done way better that that awful dress.
Her mother didn't like it either. The consultant could tell neither of them liked it. Wonder if she ended up wearing it in the end?
@@mariesmith1616 I think the dress aged her unnecessarily... She is young and beautiful. I think something with more youthful energy was in order. However, she's gorg, and would look gorg (albeit formal and conservative) in anything.
@@karenstieglitz3443 Absolutely right.
Not a fan of the crumb catcher. She could've done better.
Or the back of it
RANDY IS THE BEST OF THE BEST!
carmel looks like olivia coleman and caitlin looks like shailene woodley
Yes she does look like Shailene Woodley
Yes! Olivia Colman! The eyes and mouth
Randy is always very respectful of his colleagues. Unfortunately Carmela hadn’t pulled any that the bride liked in her price range, so Randy helped. It was a team effort. X
To be fair, Carmel chose based on what the bride said she wanted. Lace and v neck. Randy’s pick was neither.
Is that why Carmalla, doesn't work at Kleinfelds anymore. Girl, Randy is there to help everybody. Get your attitude in check.
She was fired for not making her sales quota.
Girl, this is a really old episode and Randy was fairly new to the store also.
I loved the dress Randy suggested. The price point was incredible!
She really doesn't seem that thrilled with the dress. I think she felt pressured and talked herself into it.
Randy has great taste💜
Carmen,get over yourself.😂
She was right. That dress was awful for that young and beautiful bride. Randy was too pushy and inexperienced then.
'Carmel'.
Forgive people, for sometimes the ego takes over and ruins good intentions. Being filmed at doing your job is a lot of pressure you know. Forgive. The bride was happy in the end.
I think the bride settled for her choice.
I liked that dress, but it didn't look good on the bride. She didn't seem like she like it. She was forced to like it. She could of kept looking.
The bride came in with an idea of what she "thought" she wanted but once she had them ON her body she wasnt pleased. Not that uncommon. Especially where lace dresses are concerned. Lace can be VERY matronly if not done right.
When the bride was describing what she was looking for to Randy she didn't mention lace at all OR the v neck. I mean that could be as simple as creative editing on productions part 🤷♀️ too.
I'm willing to bet she had the alterations dept pin down that ruffle across thst entire top "crumb catcher" to clean up the look and make it more streamline to follow the lines of the rest of the dress.
I do wish they would show what the bride looked like on their actual wedding day with an actual taylored wedding dress rather than the rack/sample dress that is clipped together in the back 😂
I mean who wouldn't want randy helping them out? I love Randy and like he said he usually knows more Bridal Fashion than most consultants.
Then just have Randy handle all the clients. These women are commission only, of course they’ll be peeved if he takes over their client as he gets the money they’re supposed to be earning.
@@dawnvalentine74Randy actually doesn’t get a commission. It’s more of a personal preference. Most consultants like having Randy help them but some prefer doing it alone, and that’s fine.
@@thehungrygoldfishhe was fairly new at the time - Carmel was a veteran.
@@dawnvalentine74 Carmel was newer than Randy. What are you talking about?
Don't like the dress at all
What an awful consultant! She picked terrible dresses and got mad because someone was able to give the bride better options. Her attitude seeped through to the bride too. The consultant is petty, bad at her job and has a terrible attitude. I hope they fire her.
She did get fired.
This episode is from 2009. Likely the onsite production crew simply decided to never film with her again, as is their right. Doubtful the store fired her, considering that the director of the filming tells the various actors to play up every little bit of possible drama they can, and they saw a golden opportunity in that particular person's attitude that day.
The so-called "reality" tv genre is well known, and well shown, all over the Internet for being nothing but hyped up lies. If anyone is foolish enough to believe any of it, they're truly foolish, indeed.
The crew probably loved her because she creates tension. But she looks like she's been there a long time and doesn't want to be told what to do by younger and less experienced people, especially on camera.
She gave the bride exactly what the bride was asking for: lace, v neck, traditional. It's not Carmel's fault the bride can't express or know what she wants.
Girl as a consultant you should have still showed yourself professional FACE and all . apparently your pics weren’t good. And the ones you picked looked matronly. RANDY for the win and rescue 😂😂 she looks gorgeous
'Never cared for Carmel. I find her cold and condescending to the brides.
Also, she lacks the creative imagination to match her brides with appropriate dresses. Is she still at Kleinfeld's?
@@longarmoftheOOHLALAinteresting because in another episode with her, she was very respectful of budgets. Which seems to be what viewers of this channel constantly complain *doesn’t* happen.
The girl asked for a v neck lace. That’s exactly what the consultant gave her and nothing like what she picked in the end
@@Methequeen yeah it looked matronly way to old fashion for a young lady
@@longarmoftheOOHLALA Thank you for answering.
No ones commenting that the grooms last name is Freakley lol
Randy has gotten way better than from his early days at Kleinfields. This episode is from 2009 and Randy was pushy and didn’t have much great taste then. The bride is young and beautiful and while the budget wasn’t great, they could have done way better than that awful crumb catcher dress. Feel sorry for the bride.
Carmel pulled about a dozen dresses that the bride asked for - deep v-neck with lace, within her budget. The bride didn't like any of them. I can see why Carmel was getting annoyed, after giving the bride exactly what she asked for. She was really trying to please her. Randy gave her something entirely different; no lace, nor a v-neck, and she ended up choosing that one, which I bet was frustrating for Carmel. Remember, this is edited; we didn't see everything...
That consultant would not not be my choice🥴
I’m not convinced the bride genuinely liked this dress. I think she got convinced to get it, and she should have kept looking. The best of the ones she tried on, maybe, but was she 100% for it? I don’t think so, and it looked nothing like what she originally wanted.
12 1/2 % discount 😂😂😂
if I was getting married, I would go to Randy because he knows how to dress a bride
Filmed in early summer 2009, so by today's money, she had around $3,220. Not a bad budget at all.
That consultant didn't seem to be one who was worth working with, and she wasn't/hasn't been in any episodes since this particular episode that I've noticed. But 15 years have gone by, she may have improved, just wasn't one the production crew wanted to film again...understandably.
The consultant was fired after a few episodes. I've been watching this for a long time.
She actually looked good in that dress 😍
This was hard to watch.
I have never seen a consultant mad at Randy before 😮😮😮 they usually seek him out
The consultant only took a job with the dress because she was jealous. She didn’t pick it. The ending of this video was so sweet.
Holy cow that was so overwhelming even for me...😊
She went and asked for help so Randy decided to help her, why was she so annoyed?? She needed help!!
Didn't like the way Carmela tried to push the bride into a dress she had already not been happy with.
Randy's not a consultant, so he doesn't get any commission
The consultant has a huge ego. When I was a consultant, I was so glad to have a person with more experience help me when it was needed.
I'm guessing Carmel is easily annoyed.
Didn't like the crumb catcher, looked a little ridiculous
Carmela needs to be a team player, and it's not like Randy, who is outstanding, barged in...she went to Dorothy who brought Randy in. IMHO, Carmela isn't about the bride...
Randy is the best.
I've never seen an episode where Carmel isn't moaning about something, 'they give me people who haven't tried on dresses before', obviously this bride's price point wasn't high enough for Carmel and Carmel wanted her gone because more time spent with her meant less time to spend with bride's with a higher budget. Higher price = higher commission. I don't think Carmel lasted very long at Kleinfelds.
Her budgets $2200 and the consultant gives up??? Bullshit. This was years ago too so you can get a LOT for $2k
Lordy, the consultant is supposed to be all about the bride and not her own but-hurt feelings! Most women like the addition of a man’s eye, especially a designer like Randy.
Thank God Randy is helping because all the dresses Carmel chose were terrible.
I like the first lace dress...
if you are on a budget you don't go to Kleinfeld. what is wrong with these people?
😖 not that pretty IMO, not that my opinion matters
That price should be able to get a good dress. Being jealous of Randy is not ok. He is great help.
The bride seems like she'll be planning on returning the dress by the time she gets home. Consultants need to listen to their brides and not each other's egos. They sent that lovely young woman home with a dress that makes her look old and frumpy. If they couldn't meet her price, then they owed her the respect to tell her.
I'm really sick of these consultants making it about them. There are so many great dresses for under 3k yet they act like there is nothing. Diane is the worst
But her budget wasn’t 3k. It was 2200, but because the bride haggled, it seemed like she wanted to be under 2k. 2k at Kleinfeld’s is a challenge.
I don’t like that consultant surely they are working for the bride
She reminds me of Shailene Woodly? (Sp??) So pretty
Doesn't know who Audrey Hepburn is? That's not an age thing, that's a culture thing.
Wow he prevents a dress from being stolen then he steals a dress. The irony lol. 😂🤍🌸
Carmella was talking over the bride and Randy! Rude!
Randy knows his job, he definitely knows what looks good on a Bride and Carmela is jealous. She really could learn from him.
I highly doubt anyone is jealous of Randy. 😂
She is the one who ask for lace . Go without lace
The entire jealous/unhappy consultant is just hype created by the narrator. Randy often steps in to help with indecisive brides, no big deal. I'm pretty sure it's part of his job
3:24 I’m sure she said his nice wrong which is a bit disrespectful
That was fun to watch
All the dresses that the consultant offered were terrible but to her defense lace v line nick is not flattering at all.
I'm glad they fired Carmel. She always got on my nerves. She was annoying, had an attitude with everyone (co workers and clients) and thought she knew it all.
I hated Carmel, she was so arrogant and egotistical. The episode where she was saying "she's not used to working with brides on a budget, she only wanted to work with high end brides etc" and I think it was Dorothy who said she wasn't having her consultants pick and choose their brides and dictate to management, then getting annoyed about Randy, just doing his job. Even if he finds the dress, she should be pleased if the bride buys because she still gets the commission!
This dress pick felt underwhelming... the dress was gorgeous and fit her wonderfully, but the fuss wasn't about the bride, it was about the consultants. I hope it didn't take away from her experience!
I’m 18 and know who Audrey hepburn is😂
She looked beautiful! That consultant is jealous. Not a crumb catcher fan but they said they could fold it over.
The crumbcatcher neckline is fighting with the two pieces of criss-crossed fabric in front. It's too busy. Without those two pieces of unnecessary fabric the dress would look better.
Efforts to please dont matter for an army guy .. good job searching whole store 👍
The dress she got was pretty from the front, but the back was horrible.
What a rude consultant. Fire her!
Carmel said "It's rare that I have to go to someone else for an opinion because I really know the bridal gowns very, very well..." Well, apparently not since she's been through so many dresses with this bride with no success! And as soon as Randy came in, he thought of a great one! 🤔
Now, personally, I despise the stupid crumb-catcher neckline, but if the bride loved it, more power to her.
To be fair, she was going off of what the bride said. The bride said she wanted lace and v neck and that is what Carmel showed her. Randy’s pick was nothing what the bride said she wanted. It looks like Carmel did try other options, but I think after the tenth rejected dress, she got frustrated and gave up. In this case, the problem was the bride didn’t really know what she wanted.
No wonder Camela didn't last long! She is not a team player and is not in keeping with the mission of this business
👑🔥👏🏽🤎💜🧡❤️🇸🇴🇸🇩✌🏽
Carmel needs another job
But no one cried…it can’t be the dress!
I think the dress made her look like she didn't have any boobs. And I was disappointed that she didn't have the WOW moment. Seems like she just settled for it. I'm glad Randy found a dress for her though. And I read where these videos are heavily sort of scripted and edited. I hope Carmela isn't really that irritated every time she needs help finding a bride her dress.
Who is Carmella? We know who Randy is.
She was a consultant early on in the series but she either left or was let go.
Wow. Carmel is peeved at Randy? I would be soooo grateful for his help, anytime. He is so informed about the stock, the bride's wishes, and so gracious helping in any awkward fitting. Carmel-you need to deflate your ego a bit, darling.
I think the bride should have tried other styles. Some people go in with expectations or desires and leave with something completely different. While she looked lovely, I'm wondering why she wanted the style she did. Her original dress felt like it was maybe more her? On the plain and simple side, but there is so much you can do with that vibe.
As for Carmela girl check your attitude. It's not about you. It's about the bride. You use the resources you have available and when one of those is Randy? You only say please and thank you.
What a shame that she doesn't know who Audry Hepburn is.
Wow that consultant is territorial….and let the bride re-tell her story. It’s about her!
But that dress is not her best look. Too bad she said yes, she and her entourage didn't seem excited about the dress.
😮
Tooooo much drama
Ooh i don't like Carmel
It’s ugly!
The dress was not cute. Come on the bride is so gorgeous for 2,000 dollars there should be a dress that would flatter her
This wasn’t a great episode
Yeah, no need to highlight a consultant's awkwardness with another consultant trying to help... We've all had off days, we're all human, and it's only natural to want to succeed in pleasing your own client. We just want to see beautiful dresses, we can skip the drama.
@@karenstieglitz3443 Its a made up drama in these shows
Just who does Carmel think she is?? Shes failed to find the bride a dress so far...bring in Randy....
To be fair, she was going off what the bride said she wanted.
Carmela needs to realize that after the bride tried all those dresses she picked without even coming out in it that maybe her vision of what the bride was looking for was off and that maybe a different perspective was what was needed. Randy is not pushy and is so pro bride that Carmela should not have gotten so annoyed. Besides Randy did close the sale for her. Carmela did say that she had shown this bride all the dresses in her price point. Bottom line more humility on her part and put the bride first.
Um…you need to watch the beginning. She was going off what the bride said she wanted. Lace and v neck. Yes, Carmel should have offered her other options but I think after the tenth rejected dress, Carmel just got frustrated and didn’t know what to do.
