The residents of my most recent wormhole have set up a trap to prey on Chance Ravinne's hubris and ego. But little do they know, he's seen every piece put into play. Let's just say things don't go according to plan...

Proteus was cloaky with Blasters. At best it could probably hit out to 15km (probably shorter) and is likely afterburner fit. If you caught it alone, you could probably kite it and trololololol all day.
Also, overheating your t1 point gives you another 4km of range.
Also, when you see them mining. Bookmark the rock they are at, so you can warp off, and warp back right onto them.

I wanted those gankers to at least get some before I went :)
Besides - I thought of the fun surprise they would get from a hauler suddenly turning on them :D
And the Itty does have quite a lot of hitpoints doesn't it? (I've only played for a month and I still suck royally, but I've fallen in love for LIFE with EVE :D

Try fitting a Bomb Launcher I, I would love to see you bomb some gate gamps, or even some targets in WHs.
he'd need to drop either his cloak, his probes or a launcher to fit it. none of those are really viable options for what he's doing.

That's why you bring a mobile depot; he can switch the probe launcher for a bomb launcher within a minute or so.
joshbaggy1 true, but keep in mind that the extra modules and depot take up a lot of space. a nemesis has 215 cubic metres of cargohold. this means you can bring a mobile depot, a bomb launcher, one bomb and 400 torpedoes, all those combined add up to 215.
joshbaggy1 The other problem with a mobile depot is that as long as I have it in space, the residents of whatever wormhole I'm camping know I'm there. They can scan it down and put it into lockdown, then check it to see if I reactivate it. It's basically a liability from an intel POV.

wow, the proteus really had a hard time hitting you. If you had tried to get a thight orbit on him instead of slowboating away at 0 transversal, you might have killed him :P But hey, it's easy be captain hindsight.

I would use just one in this case and sub the second one with an SD. I gotten out of some obvious traps with them.

How long does it take you to find active wormholes ? I find myself always jumping into WH's from highsec and scanning down chains but their never active.

It's a shame as an alpha clone i can't use Combat probe properly to have some fun in wormholes
He doesn't use combat probes. And they are Alpha anyway.

I was a buzzard that could of ran away buy forgot I had a warp core stabilizer fitted. So after you killed me you gently pointed that out. Was very funny

Was doin WH explo and I knew he was in this one site, because he had warped in on me there before. Naturally, I had 2 Warp Core Stabs in the lowslots, so after I first warped off, I simply warped back in. He decloaked right next to me and tried to target me, I warped out, back in. This time he finally caught me and got a disruptor or scram me. I laughed and... warped off again. He did not try to attack me again ;)

Dont torpedoes need time to reach their maximum velocity for their maximum damage...? i dont think 13km is enough room.

I cant remember exactly. It was a while ago to be sure but i asked my eve sensei just now and he confirmed it..
No, dps for torps is only affected by sig radius, explosion velocity and target velocity.
Flaire Arizona They need some time to accelerate to their maximum velocity, but it has little to no effect on the damage. IT usually cuts 1-2 km off the projected range.
Better to bail on something that did not turn out to be a threat than to go pop.

Nemesis, but I'm also training into Purifier. I have decent Astero/Stratios skills, but still need a few more SP in drones to feel comfortable maining them. After that (in 2 months or so) I can get into a recon ship.
