The last 2 singles have been some of Daughtry's best work IMO. I'm happy to hear the rock edge in those tunes and that Chris is now doing what he wants to do instead of trying to do what others want. Can't wait for the next album.

Around 5:20 minutes in: "We kind off wrote the future." But that's exactely what artists do. They are ahead of the curve, they have sensors for what is comming and often feel it earlier than the rest, to have some time to creatively express / translate it for the rest of the world. When you dive deep into the creative mindset you tap into the soul of humanity and are able to express the state of the collective body. Great interview!

I remember him on American Idol. Simon said quite genuinely, what are you doing here, you don't need this. I love the new album but I wish it had been mixed more with old and new when I finally got to see him live last fall. There’s only about 4 old songs . I was disappointed.
