this is 100% an underrated song of Daughtry. plus i dont doubt that when Chris was approached by the creators of Arkham City to make a song for it he said yes in 2 seconds because he's a fan of comic books and Batman

Listen I'm just gonna say it. This is perhaps the most underrated song of all time. Incredible vocals, excellent lyrics and a badass guitar solo. This track is phenomenal and it is tragic more people don't know about it.
I mean, based on my memory, in the past year this video has gotten about 200k views compared to its 700k in the previous 8, so I'm really hoping it means this song is starting to become more widely known.

this song is brilliant, it goes perfectly with batman's dark and brooding nature, his constant effort to make his city a better place, for his every downfall but always coming back stronger and simply being batman, perfect human being on psychical, mental, spiritual level but cold, strict, dark, lonely and lost soul on a quest to restore purpose to his life and fighting against all odds...just as i said simply being batman

Batmans fear is drowning in Gotham the city that cursed him... he fears his mission will never end... he thought what he was doing would fix his problems... but it didnt.. it made them WORSE!.. "I DON'T WANNA DROWN INNNN YOUUUUU!!!!!!!" COME ON! masterpiece imo.

Does anyone notice that this song pretty much describes Batman? The 'You' he is referring to is actually Gotham City.

It's because Batman aka Bruce Wayne has given everything for the city of Gotham and is constantly being belittled for being him.
Beaten and battered as Batman but he never gives up, instead he's always trying to fight back and show that there's always at least one person willing to fight against evil and injustice.

It's amazing how this song also reminds me of one of my other favorite superhero series, Teen Titans 2003. A lot of the relationships echo the themes of this song with how obsessive and paranoid the characters can get with each other in either facing their enemies or trying to keep their romances afloat in the middle of all that.
This is one of the best songs I've ever heard that captures the anxieities of deep relationships. Many people want one with passion and understanding at the same time, knowing how hard they are to sustain and this song really understands those fears.
In my opinion i think this song fits the game the best out of the whole album.

I used to listen to this song in my early teens, I'm 24 now. As I'm at work I keep thinking of this song but I have no idea how it sounds, the name of it or who made it. I started to reminisce on the way I felt listening to this song all those years ago and it all comes pouring back to me. I'm glad I've been reunited with this gem
