Im a Matoro fan, Mahri Matoro was my first set that I ever bought and built from Lego, Pohatu 2001 was the first set I ever built but not own in my elementary school
But Mahri Matoro was the first set that I rode with into the story of Bionicle and it was because of one of my best friends encouragement that got me into Bionicle

The characters are amazing from tahu Mata to matoro they is a character for everyone. the villains felt one-sided at times but who cares. bionicle is anything you want it to be bionicle will never die
I’m loving all the Bionicle comments here! When Bionicle featured Daughtry for the Toa Mahri it was amazing for me. Daughtry is from my hometown Greensboro, NC and so for a summer it felt like I was at the center of Bionicle, with someone from my backyard rocking it like never before!

Honestly, 2005 - 2008. We had the best Bionicles waves, The Clone Wars animated series, Toontown Online, and lots more. Everything good was in those years. Now days we have stuff like Moana, and other shitty Disney films. We were lucky to have been here at the times to see these. I miss the days where I could go to Walmart or something and see these lined up on the shelves to buy. Now its 60$ to buy a used one..
