Yeh, finger style is great and for me I tune 1/2 step down to E flat, gives me a thicker tone and easier on my voice and fingers!! No pain no gain indeed!! 😅

I would recommend not to use to heavy strings, because it's a short scale guitar! I think I use .11 from Martin strings!
