Hi Cody, Thanks for this video! Question, I have 13 years of Marketing (advertising) experience. Evaluating media plans and allocating brand spends to media types, also evaluating a recipe of pretty pictures, words and music all cooked up to make a campaign and serve them to a target audience so that can buy more and more material stuff. Would a person like myself benefit from branching out into Business Analytics? Because lord knows how badly I just cant see value in what I do for a living anymore. I don't want to just through away 13 years of experience in the trash and so I'm wondering If I could work on the data side of things backend world of the advertising and marketing front. Anyone else reading feel the need to comment please feel free to do so. There is much noise in my head for the way forward in these changing times.
Hey, I'm just a student studying a combination of statistics & marketing. I plan to go into the backend of things, as I love marketing but I also see the possibilities in data. I've been told by managers and professors that analytical marketing is a growing field, with everything from consumer behavior, B.I to social media data extraction. I think you will do awesome if you decide to switch over to the analytics side. But again, I'm just a student!!

Hello, I have completed my BBA in Accounting and Finance with a CGPA of 3.03. Then, I completed my MBA in HRM with a CGPA of 3.40. After that, I have been working in the HR department of a company since last year. From the beginning, I have enjoyed working in HR. Last month, I got admission into MS in HRM at a US university and I will be moving to the USA in December. My class will start in January. I enjoyed working in HR though the salary seemed very low compared to other business roles. Now, my brother is suggesting I do my MS in Business Analytics as it will help me get a job in the USA and it will pay more than HR. But since my childhood, I am not that good at maths or statistics but I am not terrible either. Can someone give me some suggestions regarding what should I do? Should I change my program to Business Analytics or stay in HR?
You can go through business analytics(BA) as it has more roles than in HR. Moreover you gonna do this course in US, and US is the top most country to have a best job role in BA.

You can't start consulting without some experience, unless you will be managing the business and have consultants as employees
