      @@DuskBringar as a nurse I'm pretty sure vaccines don't cause nor prevent autism cause it's caused by problems that are not pathogenic in nature like complications during delivery , pregnancy period and genetic issues relating to the nervous system.

    • @westsidermetalhead4997
      @westsidermetalhead4997 3 года назад +10

      @Duke of Istria not a fact at all. Just because some kid had autism before it was visible and was diagnosed with it, took a vaccine and years later his autism is visible isn't because of the vaccine.

    • @westsidermetalhead4997
      @westsidermetalhead4997 3 года назад +8

      @Duke of Istria Yeah and billions of cases where they don't. Don't try to put the blame on Science, when it has saved billions of lives through the ages. Those that develop autism after a vaccine are just inherently genetically weak. Oh and thanks to Science their blood line has lived and continues to live to this day else they would have been wiped out long ago with their shitty genetics. It just takes a stronger disease to crumble their poor genetic code just like with people who have survived polio, small pox, sars, covid19 before there was a vaccine created because of...stronger genetics. It's that simple. Just look before 1960 what was the world population, birth rate, death rate and standart age of people in different countries.

    • @jimjob1056
      @jimjob1056 3 года назад +7

      @Duke of Istria you do realise symptoms of autism don't show up until 2-3 years old at the earliest, which happens to be after their first vaccines, but guess what, correlation does not mean causation, if you dont know what that means i will be happy to explain to you, but do not claim your incorrect opinion to be backed by evidence when you don't take this into account.
      Also, you clearly know nothing about autism if you think your child potentially dying of a disease is a better fate than living with any amount of autism. In a hypothetical world where your opinion was the case it is obvious that any decent person with any semblance of morals would much prefer an autistic child than a dead one.
      If you prefer the opposite then i aswell as any other mentally sound person am absolutely fucking disgusted by you and your lack of empathy. I have autism myself, and i will admit it sure as hell isn't fun, but it sure beats dying as a damn kid because of coldhearted ignorant neglect, cunts like you are why people like myself have to deal with so much bullshit, now go fuck yourself or educate yourself instead of holding onto your biased and severly misguided and immoral opinions.

    My son is autistic, he is 4 years old. After all the diagnosis, we agreed that we are not going to get a formal diagnosis because we don't want him growing up as that boy with autism. As soon as people find out someone has autism, their attitude towards them changes and we don't want that. We want our little boy to be a 4 year old, not a 4 year old with autism. I'm hoping we made the correct choice, your love for your brother is beautiful.

    • @user-gv4nt9xu8e
      @user-gv4nt9xu8e 3 года назад +3

      Hi, I'm not trying to say your choice is right or wrong but if you haven't already you should consider his future as a grown man with autism first and foremost. Many adults with undiagnosed autism feel completely alienated in societies because they don't fully understand themselves, their place in the world and why people can't relate to them entirely or why they can't relate to others entirely. Often the struggles faced later on in life when you are independent are worse than the struggles faced early on, particularly if you haven't had the opportunity to challenge them earlier on and develop the capacity to manage them. I understand your position on people treating you differently when they know you have autism but in some cases that may be easier than your autism being almost invisible to yourself and others but still affecting you nonetheless.
      I wish you and your son a pleasant future!

    • @runtimus5743

      @@user-gv4nt9xu8e I appreciate the concern, I honestly do. We made this decision with his doctor. His "Autistc traits" were reducing with each visit to the doctor, if they had not the doctor would not have been happy to not give a diagnosis. We are always welcome to reopen his case at any time in his life if he changes. The school are aware of his needs and so are we, so if we do see him struggling, we will definitely revisit it :)

      I have autism and ADD.
      At the start i also didnt want to be the guy with autism.
      But i did get diagnosed when i was 16 because I wanted it myself, i noticed i was not "normal" and my way of thinking was different so i wanted to know why i was this way and the diagnosis really helped me accepting who i am. The first few months i didnt tell anyone because i was ashamed but after i started telling my friends. They all kinda didnt want to believe it which made me feel really good cause finally this teenager felt like i was just like the rest :D People might have thought i was kinda a weird one sometimes but thats was it. I had good friends, no one bullied me for it and i got along fine in school. I was just a teenager and not "that guy with autism"
      Ofcourse its your son his life in a different country than i grew up, but in 2020 having autism isnt really that big of a stamp anymore i have noticed, and i thought id let know lol sry for the wall of text (ofcourse some school will have dickhead kids in it who will still pick on people but thats everywhere)

      @@DontGood Don't be sorry, it's great to hear other peoples stories. It's worth noticing my sons traits are very minor or minimal on the spectrum. He has improved ten fold over the last year. When he's at an age where he can understand and is still struggling I will explain everything to him, but at the moment he is flourishing. When he began nursery he had extra help, but he no longer receives this due to it not being required. I think this is very situational but appreciate your comments/thoughts regardless. I always thought it was kinda sad how the focus was so much on Tom and thought it was merely because Luke is getting older and not competing at the same level anymore (not that he's not ridiculously strong) but now knowing Tom's story that shit is insane. Goes to show two things:
    1. every human being is capable of greatness
    2. You never know peoples struggles so don't assume anything.
    They both are an inspiration!

    autism can be a super power when you have the right people encouraging you. i have high functioing autism and have been lifting weights most of my life now and its the best thing for anyone with autism to do as a therapy. im glad the brothers are open about it as so many celebs who are blatantly autistic hide it as they dont know how the publice will react.
