  • In this video we will go through the Hungarian alphabet again, but this time with pictures. You can easily master the letters by listening to their correct pronunciation.
    The letters Q, W, X, Y are rarely used in Hungarian, they were omitted this time, except for X. These letters can only be found in foreign words and traditional orthography of names.
    MY TOP RECOMMENDATIONS FOR LEARNING HUNGARIAN:

    I liked how to say watch. It sounds just as the word "hora" in Spanish which is the word for "hour"

      We use the same word for the clock, the watch, and the hour. ;)

      They sound similar because both words come from Latin.

    It seems like there are two dialects in Hungary or two groups of people. O-speaking and A-speaking. I mean, sometimes they say "teacher" tanár as [ta-naar] but sometimes as [to-naar].

    • @Charybdiss
      @Charybdiss 9 дней назад +2

      No. Noone says to-naar.

    What is the real sound of the letter A ?
    I still don't get it.
    Why does it sound like O ?

    • @carsonroxanne
      @carsonroxanne Год назад +2

      It’s the sound in the word Art
      Not anything to do with o

      if it helps W sounds like V, just put "Dupla" infront of it. so W = dupla v
