Sooo true about going back to school and visiting.
I went back to Morse High to visit a History teacher, Mr. Meeh. He use to show us slides of his vacations in Europe. It was hot, dark and sunny ☀️😎 outside. Most students fell asleep. 😆.
But i went to Europe for the Air Force and visited the sites he had shown us. I was so moved by the statue's in Rome and i understood his wonderment of history then at the age of 18 standing in the coliseum.
I went back and thanked him and you could see what that meant to him as a teacher.
One of the best days/feelings in my life.

@ClassyFries how is it a disservice? I menetion his race because he wouldn't be cast in some of the roles he was unless he was black. You could never make a movie about Bill O'Neal and cast him as a white guy. Who would play Snoop Dogg in Straight outta Compton?? No different than me saying Dev Patel is one of the best Indian Actors working today (which there are many if you've ever heard of bollywood) I'm not sure why you're trying to find a way to be offended when I said nothing ignorant at all.

@ClassyFries No I would probably say he is one of my top 3 English actors, but that really all depends on if someone asked me a question like "who's your favorite black British actor?" And I could answer Idris Elba. Personally just think your race is what makes you unique to who you are, I don't see anything wrong about menetioning the subject when you're not speaking negatively at all.
