Actually, in the new movie he doesn't have that many crazy gadgets aside from the contacts. Most of it feels homemade or purchasable from a local store in the US. Even the batmobile looks like he put it together himself. Plus, the Wayne family was charitable under his dad and nothing changed. Bruce is trying a different approach.
I like how Americans are getting anxious about their petrol/gas prices rising to prices that we had in 1990. If you convert it into Murica measurements then prices in Sweden is $9,67 /Gallon for Diesel, and it is rising.

As the film is that long, If you're going to see The Batman, I suggest you to get some food in order to keep you awake, which I didn't. So while seeing the film, I felt like Mr. Bean at the church, I was about to fall asleep however, I was sitting all the time without going to the bathroom haha.

Batman is a dark and gritty character. If you want to watch something lighthearted then go watch a sitcom or a standup special. There's a million blockbuster cheese fests out there like the Fast and Furious movies where you can watch people ram cars into each other for two hours, say "we're a family", and end with a big hallelujah. This is the problem with all these MCU movies now. They pander to audiences with ridiculous jokes every 2 minutes and it takes away from having a movie with an actually well thought out storyline and plot. The formula works for some movies like Spiderman but when they release a Black Widow movie with the same tone, it lends to a shitty story.

Sorry but the depravities being used against the Ukrainian civilians is sickening and yet this monologue is basically ignoring the real atrocities happening by the Russians because of their leader are being ignored. I know this is a comedy show but just think about this - would James and crew make the same "funny" statements if this was right after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor? Would it have been a big joke when the US forces invaded all of those islands where up to 50% of the American troops died charging up the sand banks, falling by the dozens as their guts were clenched with terror that they would be the next casualty? The reality in Ukraine is that families are struggling to get the women and children out of the country on trains, up to 50,000 per day....and the men leave them to go back to fight the bastards who are destroying their country. Those families have no idea if their husband/father is still alive. I guess it is my opinion that this seems to be a big joke to James and crew. I know that is his job but to me this kind of show should dwell on what is happening with so many dying and only a few brave reporters are trying to show the world just how awful this disgusting use of heavy artillery is used on men, women and children - even babies. The worst and most telling report was from a childrens hospital. When the air raid siren goes off the nurses, mothers and kids have to rush to the bunkers under and around the hospital until the all clear is sounded. This includes children who have cancer both in the body and in the brain , where they have to be unplugged from whatever treatment they are receiving during the crisis. The mother then has to carry that child to a bunker that is NOT equipped with the medical units....the mother simply has to hold their child, their baby, hoping they will survive the lack of treatment on top of hoping no bombs hit whatever type of shelter they could find. Once the all clear comes through the parents and their sick child must go back to the treatment room or to the equipment that needs to be re-attached and hope the child has survived yet another atrocity from the Russians. Some families cannot go back to the treatment so their only other choice is to try making their way to the train that can take the women and children to whatever train they can take to get away from the bombing. Hopefully their child will survive the train trip once they can get on a train and at the far end there is the proper treatment available for their sick child. Again most fathers will stay and join the freedom fighters showing such determination against these oppressors it brings tears to my eyes. God help all those people who are fleeing or fighting this perverted invasion for reasons that seem to be some sort of Putin power play so his name gets into the history of the world as a great conqueror. My wish is that a group in Russia chooses to revolt against Putin and his pals making sure that Putin's legacy paints him as a tiny perverted version of Hitler who also failed to become a hero to his countrymen. Putin will get what he deserves eventually. I am just so saddened that so many will suffer or die before enough right-minded people from the Russian leadership will destroy this small time wanna be dick tater so that his legacy is simply a black smear in the Russian history books and is mostly ignored by the rest of the world.
