- Riding the North County Transit District (NTCD) COASTER Commuter Rail from Oceanside Transit Center Station in Oceanside California to Santa Fe Depot Station in Downtown San Diego. This commuter train journey starts at Oceanside Pier in Oceanside California. After relaxing at the pier, I've walked to Oceanside Transit Center (TC) Station*. At Oceanside TC Station, I've boarded the COASTER Commuter Rail southbound to Santa Fe Depot in Downtown San Diego.

Great videos! How ironic lived in Houston as a kid and also lived in San Diego for 30 yrs. I go back n forth between Houston and San Diego and Cocoa Beach Florida. Just came back to San Diego afyer living in Houston again from 2016-2023. San Diego best weather in the country Love Houston still and also Cocoa Beach Florida.
The walk at the beginning from the pier to the station was a nice, relaxing intro that gave a good overview of where the station is located compared to the beach.
Thanks! The walk to/from pier was nice. Oceanside CA is a really nice town to relax.
Hey, man! Lucky you've spotted a Desiro, which is mostly operated by Deutsche Bahn (DB). That European train is also on the bucket list.
By the way, you need to fix your description. It should be written as Flixbus, not Flexibus! When I first saw Flexibus, I thought it was a different bus company, but Google said "Did you mean: Flixbus"
Oops..lol. Must been the autocorrect. The name is fixed. Thanks.
From Sorrento Valley Station to Sante Fe downtown San Diego should have sat on right side more scenic of the bay airport etc...
I swear the guy talking for the bulk of this video sounds exactly like Zach Hadel
I hated how he kept saying whatever and not even trying to get to know the names of people and places, he was irritating to listen to
Hey @HOUExplorer do these coaster trains have automated station stop announcements in the trains?
No, the train conductor makes the announcements.
@@HOUExplorersame as Caltrain up here in the Bay Area
Hey buddy, Are you be able to do 11 route to Hiram Clarke Transit Center from Fannin South soon
I haven’t had the chance since I’ve been pretty busy working and traveling. But I will do to that route soon.
I thought the Coaster and Amtrak used the same track?
Yes. They share on the same tracks during the trip. But at Santa Fe Station, Amtrak and Coaster are at a different platform.
How much? Do you recommend taking amtrack from fullerton to san deigo instead? Also does it connects to SD trolley at the station over there?
Yes, both the Blue and Green lines of the SD Trolly stop at Santa Fe Station or near by.
