    All those lights from a wheel speed sensor. Things get more and more interesting. Great work :)

    Great repair video. Don't know if this is at all related, but I have a 2015 Fusion Hybrid that didn't come with donut spare. So bought from junk yard a T155/70r17 spare from 2016 Ford Escape with same lug pattern as my Fusion and jack/wrench from 02-03 Ford Windstar that slots into the jack points on the Fusion. That Escape donut spare has ~0.3" less diameter vs. the regular 225/50r17 tires on my Fusion. But when I trialed the Escape spare on driver's side front, the Fusion often pulled to right (opposite the spare), as if differential was over compensating for the slightly smaller donut spare diameter on drivers side. Anyway, no bells or whistles went off after driving ~4 miles, so I went ahead and put spare and jack under trunk mat where the Ford fix a flat kit used to be. Fortunately, haven't needed to use spare to date. Do like the Fusion Hybrid. Too bad Ford stopped making them.

    I didn’t know that an speed sensor can mess up the power steering. Everything is getting really computerized now, ya computers can help you or destroy you

    Ford tech here down in Florida. I had the same issue with a 2013 Ford fusion with the 1.6 motor in it. I knew it needed a sensor but I was baffled by all the ABS codes it was throwing and no power steering. I ran in circles for hours testing everything. Then I stuck a random f150 sensor in place of the speed sensor. Turned the wheels back and forth on the lift and no more codes. Mind blown.

    I have a questions I have a 2013 ford fusion the wire that snaps on both sides to the power wheel and rack assembly was chewed thru by a mouse wondering if you know where. Could buy this tier at? Ford wanted to sell the whole rack ect for 3500 and I only need a wire? thank you

    I have a vendetta against those dang wheel speed sensors. I always get the ones like that, they are always so cooked and so far gone, well. Just the other day I had to wire 2 new pigtails into a Pathfinder because they were so far gone. I probably spent 30 mins just spraying oil and doing everything I could just to get them unplugged without destroying them. Plus not to mention they cost about 15 bucks per pigtail connector.

    Hey Rich my hospital bought 3 F 550. They sent it to a company to make it a shuttle bus. When going over speed bumps the rear next to the struts and shocks squeak. Any Idea. I told the driver to tell the mechanic to spray the struts with some Lithium grease?

    Evening @ford boss me , i have a question about the rotary gear shifter in the ford expedition 4th gen , is there any way to modify it ( delete it) and replace it with a normal gear leaver?

    • @jtjones4727
      @jtjones4727 2 года назад +1

      I'm not an expert on Ford, but I suspect it may be possible, but I just have to imagine it would require a bit of parts swapping plus some custom programming. You might be able to use the shifter mechanism and the range sensor from say a Ranger or something. I have to imagine most of the newer dial and shifter style units are probably CanBus or something similar. If you can get some parts that will bolt up, you would still require some kind of program work I have to imagine. Bottom line, anything is possible, with enough time and money. It's just how far you wanna go down the rabbit hole.

      You got to have access to all data or a Ford manual you guys going to give me time to come up with this stuff you're going to have to start giving me a list of things that you want so then I could come up with them on the weekend but during the week if I stopped and looked up things for every single person I wouldn't get anything done during the day
      Touch base with me later and see if I looked it up

    • @FordBossMe
      @FordBossMe  2 года назад

      Okay so you're going to have to send me an email because there's like two or three different bolt torque specs all for that motor mount depending on how you took it apart and I'm not going to specify every single one of them right here and then try to explain it and assume that you understand what I'm talking about so send me an email I'll send you the picture I don't have a lot of time to talk about it or anything I apologize I'm being very short with you but I have a lot of stuff to do

    Wasn't repair Tha was a hack lol.
    Twist wires together and electrical tape isn't a repair imo.
    Head shrink butt connectors is a repair.
    I see this hacking way too much.
