How is your week?
Keep making this for ppl like me, a person who only been smoking a year or never smoked can’t understand what u talking bout but I hear and understand everything u saying. Weed is a good feeling to be on but long term it robs you for your time and your natural highness off life and being able to rely on self to be happy. Some ppl weed is good for but for me I have a addictive personality and weed ain’t my friend as if it is a friend to snoop and etc 💯💯💯 when u first smoke u don’t like it because of the feeling of anxiety, u get depend it on it to feel normal after a while. When u start to quit it’s the opposite but same, u don’t like feeling sober but overtime u start learning how to be happy without smoking and can’t go back to depending on a drug that don’t suit you purpose
Bruh, I'm exactly here, I've been smoking for almost 5 years with bud, and outta nowhere, it's like me last dopamine receptor got fried, and I have ZERO care for my favorite things
I also have high functioning autism, and an addictive personality as well... Not things to mix
@@OogaBooga1576THsame here brother you are not alone. Don’t worry in less than a week you will begin to feel the happiness you felt when you listened to your favorite song for the first time. I’m only on day 5 and already the depression has started to subside. Reach out to as many friends about your situation and check in with them daily even twice a day. I promise we will make it out of this in one piece and learn from our mistakes. Social autists unite 😂
@@demitri2461 yessir! Thank you for the kind and understanding words brother man. I also have tics as well, and the weed makes it worse, so I can't even play video games anymore, because one of my main tics when I do is throwing my thumb around non stop, like I have an itch that I can't scratch...it drives me to my breaking point, but that's what drives me to act in this choice as well
@@OogaBooga1576THof course! I will pray for your mts to get better with time as you get more sober. I’m curious what day are you on friend?
Haven’t smoked cannabis since February. I’ve been loving the journey and loving myself and it’s never made me feel stronger. I wish you would post videos twice a day so I could watch them! I could listen to your content on repeat Dr. Frank you are the best and you honestly have no idea how helpful all your advice is for someone like me.
Day 28. I've been doing okay, however today I'm angry and struggling
Keep going mate I'm on 18 days tomorrow
Im day 35 and I feel you. Some days are ok, some are just pure desperation. On those days, nothing makes sense... like... "if life feels like this, its not even worth it to be sober" ideas. I think I have some mental issue, or trauma. And I healed it with nicottine or whatever. And when thats gone, only pain remained. Its torture :X Stay strong
Actually feeling physical pain!
@@donnapecoraro6859 yes the physical and mental pain, its just a pain which will tear me apart. It kind of makes me want to destroy stuff around me, just to feel something else, than this pain. I was thinking a LOT about it and I think this pain has nothing to do with addiction, its not a withdrawal symptom. Its the pain I wanted to cover up with addiction for whole my life. And it really makes no sense to live life in this pain. Being sober is cool, but this pain is not. Unless the pain is dealt with, the life makes no sense to me. Im cycling inside these ideas, it just sucks :/
@@donnapecoraro6859keep on pushing brother I’m on day 6 and I envy how clear headed you must feel by day 30. Your receptors have healed mostly you’ve been through the hardest part. I will pray for you brother ❤
I go backpacking on the 15th of this month and when I get to the hike I'm throwing my cigarettes in the garbage. I'm 34, my dad is in his 60s and has smoked for 40 years and he has COPD and sleep apnea and he still smokes every day, the biggest motivator for me is his health and seeing what I have to look forward to if I don't change this now at this point in my life...
I'll be in the woods for four days, I've decided I want to climb the 7 summits and nicotine just seems counter productive if I want to achieve this goal.
One of the best videos yet 💯
I love being sober on a cruise
Dude.. you re amazing
Im a musician.you re at another level
Keep walking.congrats on everything
Cool, what helps me is i know how it already feels like so it passes
Have fun! It's so beautiful there
THAT WAS ME 😃😃 thank u
Anytime it was a great question
Some people manage to stay sober without relapsing for long periods, but their life in recovery becomes unsatisfactory. They may feel anger, resentment, or boredom, leading them to question the effort required to stay sober. The temptation to relapse can linger even after many years of recovery. While the risk of relapse does decrease significantly after about five years, it never completely disappears
That’s why it is so important for us to find ways to enjoy life even more than when we were getting high or drunk. Try to imagine all the worst times that resulted from your use. I can think of about 1000 off the top of my head. Life without it is so much better and I will pray that you lose your urges and cravings entirely. You are strong for overcoming something that held you down for so long. Love you brother keep fighting the good fight ❤
Just like to share my alcohol cravings are entirely gone. The longer time passes the less I want a drink, ever.
Only things that tempt me are social events maybe 5 times a year.
If you're wondering if it's possible to ever just look at alcohol and genuinely not want it, I am one case of this being true.
If only I can create this w sugar junk food...
Sugar addiction is similar thing. Just avoid it for some time and this feeling fades away. At the same time replace it with fruits, still sugar but healthier option
What's a medical detox? You mean AA or like a kidney pumo or something?
You didn't actually answer the Title Question of this video. "Do cravings go away" I've heard of people having random cravings even years and years later.
what do you say to people who quit and are couple days in. Watch your videos and then see your high and just trying to make some money. then they use that to justify relapse? I am still smokiing after 20 years. when I stop I dont look high the next day. Why do you?
Bro what tf is u talking about lol him looking high got nothing to do with a person mind telling them to smoke cause u think he’s high. We get high naturally off life we have canibonoids in our body that releases a high type feeling. That’s why he looks high.Don’t blame this man look on your struggle to giving up weed just face it and get thru it
Let go of your hate brother.... this guy's videos helped me quit spliffs almost an 8th a day of flower for 15 years. Judging him based on what he looks like is small minded AF.
He's high on life. Such a thing is possible. He's broken the chains of fake, illusory, temporary distractive "fun."
Hum don't make no sense bro
He's no longer a slave to the master of bodily desire. Learn from him, my friend.
It dosent mater where you go..if you walk down the street and you can't control it then work on it...don't go ruin a cruise with your family cause your selfish..work on you and stop blaming anything but yourself
I like chocolate cake
