Our law makers are truly remarkable people. I mean, no criminal would ever thing of using a hacksaw to cut off the coat hanger... Would they?

So to clarify if you have a space on your fac for one of these you can shoot someone else’s?

No, it has to be your exact LBP written on your FAC with it's own unique serial number. Completely barmy but that's the way it is.
The only exception to this that I'm aware of is a club (can't remember which one) who won a court case at great expense to specifically have one added to their club certificate.

Sound is way too low, best think about buying a proper external mic... Or speak loader... But otherwise very good vid.

I don't see how it is 'different legal classification'. It's a 22 semi auto with a 12" barrel and 24" overall making it a rifle as it fits within the classification of a rifle that's why it's legal!

I know what you mean but a)it's the UK b) it's the UK c) the people who make the rules are complete idiots with no real understanding of risk or the firearms community d) see a,b&c

The truth of the matter is IT'S LEGALLY A .22lr SEMIAUTOMATIC RIFLE. I get so pissed off with the BS from the home office and different forces FLO's , its just the same with LBR's legally they fall in exactly the same specifications of Winchester/Marlin/Henry rifles, if you have a slot for a ".22lr rifled gun" with no action specified then you are technically/legally covered for one of these K22s, but being as pissing off your FLO or assistant FLO is the quickest way to get your ticked revoked, it would take a braver/richer man than I to legally challenge these made up rules.

@@whatsMyNameAgainAgain Well if as you say the Acts didn't specifically ban "Handguns", can you explain the wording of the second Act introduced by Labour to add .22rf pistols to the ban that states " The Act further prohibited the private possession of all cartridge handguns, regardless of calibre." this Act clearly states prohibition of "cartridge handguns" and relies on the definition of any firearm with an overall length under 60cm and barrel under 30cm, this in effect classifies/identifies all firearms with an overall length under 60cm and barrel under 30cm as handguns for the purpose of the legislation, it therefore follows that any firearm that doesn't conform to that definition is NOT a handgun, and is goes on to further state must be treated as any other section 1 firearm.
Basically the legal definition of a section one firearm is "A rifled gun with an overall length greater than 60cm and barrel over 30cm", and as the Act specifically prohibits ALL "cartridge handguns", long barreled handguns can not be handguns, or they would be banned under the Act.
