yes, just need to put in a variation for a 22lr LBP (long barrel pistol) and providing you are a member of a suitable club, it shouldn't be a problem. I have a GSG 1911 and it's great fun to shoot, but this Colt looks pretty well made and I may have to consider an upgrade :)
I have the gold cup model, 5 years on love it to bits, trigger loosens up, be careful how you store it, the finish is great but don't store it in its foam box,
@@jimmain2924 The foam, is not of great quality, I left mine for 3 years in foam box and the foam, imprinted on the slide touching it... ah well. Leave it in the bag it came with, if you still have it, or a gun sock! Happy shooting man 👍

Paul Myrus could you explain why not store in the foam? Is it due to condensation?

It is removable with the correct tools and knowledge, but if it was in the UK then it would be a prohibited firearm.
