On behalf of dairy eating children (ice cream) - the Cow's deliverance team is you! (when they come home) Thank You! Jess and Juan! from Dave in the US-EH! (get it?) lol
Great, now I want Ice-cream
That's the nice thing about trucking, each day is totally different than the last. Loads change, the scenery is always different, and you get to meet a lot of different folks along the way. I couldn't imagine working in the same spot each day, especially in an office. LOL
You are blessed Juan, especially getting to take Jess along once in a while. What a way to share memories, with your best friend!
Much respect for you and the industry, although sadly much of the professionalism you demonstrate has slowly fallen be the wayside in this world of "just in time" deliveries. My time in the saddle was from '70-2010, the landscape has changed considerably since those early years, some good, some not so good.
Hope you're having a good one as you read this, stay safe and healthy brother!
I agree, it's definitely a great job, and we can be good examples of how respectful trucking should be.
Starting to get rain here again since yesterday. Sure needed it. Hope the same for you regarding the forest dryness. It is one of the items on my prayer list become answered. Encouraging - - - take care - p.s. Kelp is very very heavy whip-thing with a bulbous head that retains air in the bulb so that it floats on the surface. High in Iodine and made sometimes into relish. It is also a warning of shallows to a boat. As a child I used to chop it in half running my dad's boat while he was resting until I hit a waterlogged log. It was one of the two times in my whole childhood career I heard what Foak! sounded like in Danish accent because my dad was pissed off much. Bent the shaft several hundredths out and he had to pull the shaft later that year in Everett and straighten the 'mon-el' a type of soft stainless, tailshaft out by the machinists. "You kids cost me a lot of money - but I love you anyway." he said. But I did see stars briefly that time. So there 's the Story. My fishing boat story about kelp. No more kelp chopping after that though. It cut the small log in half and made the engine (Detroit Diesel) slow down briefly. Didin't know my father could get out of bed that fast - whew!
Holy smokes, thats sure one way to get Dads attention 😆
I love that countryside around Enderby. We used to drive down from Kamloops just to go cliff jumping into the Shuswap River. Lots of little backroads that are not much fun for trucks. I used to load special dimension lumber from a small mill back on one of those roads. The roads were all gravel back then.
Yea, some tight roads, but I always find those to be my favorite, less so when those tite roads are in North Vancouver
Great video. Thank you 😊
Hi Juan and Jess. Kelp iodine source.
25:40 I listened and couldn't hear ant clutch slipping.
Good Morning, Did you pick at that farm last winter? I remember you picked up hay in the winter. Thanks for sharing and so nice to see Jess sitting in the drivers seat ...
No, this was my first time to this farm
See you tomorrow night, Juan 🌙 👋
Oh please! please! can we stop at the log barn.
No, sit down and stop hitting your sister

@@blueman5924 Hola 👋
@18:40 The other drive in is in Langley but they are closing up at the end of the summer for good.
You should have a mask on, Juan
G'day Juan
Adios Jess
Rather disconcerting when the camera brushes the trees. i feel like I'm getting wacked.
LOL, yea, it's all a bit close.
Have you driven Cab over trucks? If so, did you like it better?
I have never had the opportunity
@JuanRempel They are strange looking. You could see all the cars in front of you at intersections.
I think they would be great on city roads
Hello Jess
