I was shocked when I seen how u guys got on there. totally jealous. Just wanna say thanks for risking so much for our entertainment guys looking forward to ur next vid now
I live near Bridgend which is around 15 miles away from port Talbot and I used to work for a container firm and I spent loads of time in the steel works and it's an absolutely massive site that you can easily get lost in , I'm very surprised how easy it was for you guys to access those areas and the power is still on wasting thousands of pounds, thanks for the video.
@AbandonedPlacesHiddenSpaces Sham about ur facebook post as security are now more onit and added 360 ptz cams ontop of the big posts to catch people out
UK gov destroyed all the Welsh industries Coal first now Steel. Clyde Bank in Scotland had the worst deal. Ship building for hundreds of yrs but Maggie the stupid woman that she was did not read the small print where it stated that because the EU had paid the redundancies they could never build ships again. All that infrastructure wasted. MP,s have devastated our country
I'm not sure it's abandoned. The blast furnaces are shut down but steel is being imported to be processed so the cranes would work with that. I think you just arrived at a shut down period.
My only concern is other less experienced people will try and get up these cranes and try and do something silly endangering theirs and others lives. It’s not a good place to be as it’s a very hazardous place, although I reckon security will be more switched on seeing this video.
3000 ton an hour for the 2 bigger unloaders conveyors used to take 6000 tone but after low maintenence only 4500 the jetty has had them cracks for years you guys don't realise how dangerous it was you climbing them
Resident of PT here. Never been that side of the beach as is normally out of bounds. On that side of the beach is the remains of a ship wreck and I believe a WW2 tank. That area was used during the war for repairs on ships and storage
If you or I abandoned our property and left it in a state they'd have us arrested. How comes commercial companies get away with it ? These hullets should be preserved using some of the profits from the last owners
Them cranes and everything around it is in a right state and it shouldn't be still left live with power should of been isolated and have security as well as its a dangerous site i would not of gone up there
@@abandoneduk4640 I remember once watching an abandoned railway video and reading a comment from someone saying “the transport police will be interested in this video” 🤦🏻♂️

Massive structure that destined for the scrap heap.....at least they won't have far to transport it to the 'new' arc furnace.
Great video lads
Interesting, you can see these cranes from Aberavon Beach.
