Hi, it is july 20th 7:27pm Eastern time. I would like disburst off and say I enjoy watching your Videos. I just found you today and I have subscribed To your channel. I also have booked a trip to the deep hole Recreational area campground for site number 5 in August. I am excited about going to. I have not set up my core ten ten person tent yet. It's brand new I just Bought it. But I have watched a lot a lot of videos on how setting them up and what they are all about is why I chose that tent. I just wanted to say if nobody has told you what I have seen is people set up at the center of it first it locks in place like my tent, does. And leave the outer Poles in the downward position. So it's lower to the ground, so you can be able to throw it over easier. After securing the top, then raise your outer Poles to its proper position for completion of setting the tent up. I hope that helps. Looking forward to watching you. And thank you for all you do. You have a lot of great content.😊
Happy camping from Babette in Florida.

Hi Babette! Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad that you enjoy the videos! I'm glad that you were able to book Deep Hole as well, you're going to love that site. Bring something to float down the creek with, if that's your thing, it's a nice peaceful creek, great for floating. And thank you so very much for the tent set-up advice, it's greatly appreciated!😊

I was looking to buy this tent and came upon your video to see a review. I was trying to figure out what side the "dog door" opened to. Thanks to you, I now know it's NOT a "dog door" but an "a/c port" 😄

Once rolled into window there is a button and loop to hold the zipped down window . I have this tent. You can also use a power pack for the lights. You have button loops for the doors also

@@celestenewsome1653 , thank you for the feedback! How has it faired for you in the rain and wind? I used to avoid instant tents because I’ve heard that slight winds can make them collapse. I haven’t experienced windy conditions yet.

We were in the worst environment for any tent, a couple of weeks ago. I lost my 11 person Ozark and replaced it with this one. It’s not the tent, it’s how we reacted to the next storm. I will forever be prepared to drop the tent legs in place and cover with another tarp and stakes. We basically dropped the legs and folded the second tarp like a taco and staked it down. A little water inside and nothing lost or damaged.

My only flaw about my tent, rain will come into the door if you have to get in or out,,,for anyone who has small kids,,put them to sleep and open that big window ,and you can watch your kids while your outside enjoying a camp fire

Ozark Trail tent=when it rains there will be water in your tent.

@@corygimmestad6080 , not necessarily. This is my first time with this particular tent, but I have several others by Ozark Trails, and camp multiple times a year. What I’ve found in my personal experiences is that, some styles do great in wind and rain, and some perform horribly. This brand is very inconsistent, that’s why I test several.

I have an OT instant cabin tent and discovered that if I put my rain fly on before fully extending the poles, it's much easier. Great setup!
