I'm lucky they didn't take off with my R/C but I have GPS it's got Tracker on it with my controller that tells me temp speed how many miles how much more time I have till she runs for. And signal. Trying to add more options to the crawler to find people in

    First thing I do when getting a car with friction shocks is change them out before I even run it. It is not wise to cheap out on the shocks because they affect performance almost as much as the electronics.

    Brother, I wouldn’t get upset about the whole “WLToys” issue they have going, just be happy about the fact that you are doing absolutely great videos showing the the negatives and positives about all RCs regardless of whether you received it to do a video or you paid for it because I can tell you that 99,99% of viewers love and appreciate your honesty regardless the company that particular RC vehicle comes from and I personally appreciate your down right “Brutal Honesty “ which is rare in a lot of RC RUclips videos channels. I get really upset when I see RUclipsrs praising RC vehicles that are downright absolute garbage and yet they’re trying their best to avoid making any negative comments on the RC they are supposed to be reviewing meanwhile they’re not really reviewing it but basically doing an “AD” for that particular RC. That really upsets me because they aren’t really being honest, they are just promoting an RC because they know they’re getting a decent size “Kickback” for doing it and they like to say that they’re being honest? Anyways, the last 1/20th scale mini truck basher that you had on your channel ( the little black one, I think it was JJRC) was super and I ended up purchasing 5 of them. I originally purchased 1 and after I saw your video I went and got 4 more. I’ve disassembled all of them and cleaned the diffs up added a little diff fluid to all the diffs, I cleaned all the oil shocks and added 35wt oil in all the shocks and added a drop of oil to all the joints and they are amazing little trucks and the servos actually have servo savers on them. But anyways I’ve gotten into so many arguments with other RUclipsrs who like to boast about certain RCs when the particular one they are “Reviewing” is total hot garbage and everyone knows it and it’s been proven over and over by legitimate RUclipsrs who are responsible and honest about their reviews. Brother I love and appreciate your honesty and your videos and I look forward to your next videos. As far as “Are 1/20th scale RCs wanted and appreciated”? That’s a definite YES! It’s nice to have an option to run some RCs indoors (especially if the weather is bad) or like in my situation my wife is terminally ill and I want and need to be by her side as quickly as possible also she spends most of the time in bed because she cannot walk so it’s nice to be able to have several small scale RCs so she can run them with me indoors. We have a large flat roof that we use as a patio but it’s fairly large so I can run 1/10,1/12,1/14,1/16 and smaller on the roof and I won’t be miles away from her, so yes smaller scale RCs are definitely a great size to have fun with. But thank you from my wife and I for all your absolutely great content and honesty. It is greatly deeply appreciated from the heart.🙂❤️👍💯

    @DustinRea 5 дней назад +2

    I really enjoy my 1/18 crawlers, but after having built several and not using them very much, I wouldn't recommend getting more than 2 of them (1 for you, 1 for a friend to use). For anything fast, I can't see why going small is any benefit. Initial cost maybe but it's still going to cost to upgrade. I personally don't see enough parts support for "budget" RCs. So I've avoided them and stuck to whatever Horizon has in the lineups.

    I love a little RC car. The HBX 16889 is a brilliant little truck, as was the A979, back in the day!!
    Admitty, that had friction shocks, but with that huge 540 motor, it was fast, and durable, and an upgrade for the shocks was only £15!!
    Why the hell would they put them on this?!! It's almost like they're committing commercial suicide!! That body really looks like the A979, too!!
    The market is so flooded with cars at the moment, you have to do something special to get noticed, but this gets noticed for all the wrong reasons, in my opinion. Whatever that's worth! 🤷🏻‍♂️🤗

    I have mixed feelings about this... Agreed this truck is a "me too" and there are other options for a "grab and go" R/C, even some of WLToys earlier models. Friction shocks aren't necessarily a deal-breaker for me, I still love my FMS Toyota FJ Cruiser, and that came with friction shocks. At the same token it does seems like WLToys cheaped out and cut corners they shouldn't have. That's where they lost the plot. I think this is an either put a better suspension and power combo on the truck even if it costs slightly more, or keep it as-is but only charge $50 USD max for it.

    I love your review videos. You aren't here to blow smoke up our @$$3$, and you aren't bought and paid for by rc company (x).
    I agree whole-heartedly with your assessment of WLToys. I am a big fan of their 12428 (9, 7, etc), and their A979B. However, you will pay double to upgrade them to what you want them to be, and at that point, there are several other options that are already 'upgraded' in comparison to the stock WLToys.
    I will keep the 3 or 4 WLToys that I have, and parts to keep them going, but I haven't seen anything they've done since those two that has my interest, this included.
    Honestly, the small scale stuff is so common and prevalent these days, that 1/10 is becoming a 'rarer' size.
    I am more interested in 1/10, and bigger, though, they are very expensive, there are also awesome, cheaper alternatives that are gaining a lot of notoriety.
    Thank you for your honesty, I didn't hear griping or whining, I heard honest opinions about a company that have been said for their entire run.
    You are easily one of my favorite 3 reviewers, and I appreciate what you do!
