- Timothee Chalamet so far has had an incredible career. He has starred in some of the best movies of the last 5 years, and I would argue some of the best indie movies of all time. Timothee Chalamet has starred in films such as Dune alongside Zendaya and Oscar Isaac, to Little Women directed by Greta Gerwig starring Florence Pugh and Saoirse Ronan. As well as Call Me By Your Name, directed by Luca Guadagnino, and then he teamed up a second time with Luca to star in Bones and All. It's fair to say his filmography goes deep however in this video I look at his filmography from best film to worst film, and rank all Timothee Chalamet's movies. I hope you guys like this video! I basically agree with you. CMBYN is incomparable excellence. That Gom Jabbar scene in Dune where Paul deals with the poison needle and the box was an Oscar worthy moment in my opinion. The trailer for Dune 2 looks incredible. Timothee can amazingly inhabit his characters to such realistic levels. His acting in Beautiful Boy and Bones and All was terrific. The film failures I’ve seen him in seemed more directorial problems to me.
My list: 1. CMBYN 2. Bones&All 3. Dune 3.Miss Stevens 4. Beautiful Boy 5. Little Women. I don't understand why nobody, even Timothee, doesn't mention Miss Stevens, which is great in my opinion. And I don't understand why everybody talks about Lady Bird, which in my opinion isn't the great movie, just a good one.
I think that finally Chalamet never stopped being Elio for his most ardent fans, although it seems to me that he transposes himself impeccably into any character he plays.
Yes yes, he was wonderful in Miss Stevens. He was just starting out and and had to make a complicated character believable.
What a fun video! But honestly, I'd put Beautiful Boy before Dune. Dune is a fantastic film but Timothee didn't have to carry that film the way he had to carry Beautiful Boy and I don't think I've even seen an acting performing so raw and heart-breaking in my life.
I see your point however I was just ranking the movies not necessarily his best performances. And I’d say the overall movie of Dune in my opinion was better than Beautiful boy. But I see how some may think Beautiful boy is better than Dune.
I Love and watched all of Timothee Chalamet movies !!! 🙌🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I agree with your top three! (Beautiful boy is a 4th for me, that movie and his performance is so underrated)
100% that’s a great movie
No, his role in Beautifull boy is not at all underrated. In fact, all his roles were impeccable, it's fabulous how this actor knows to transpose himself into any character, for me he's like a chameleon, changing even his face. Chalamet is very talented, it's no wonder that he is so appreciated by everyone who sees him playing, whether they are his fan or not.
Can't wait for Dune Part Two, Wonka I'm a little more trepidatious, but there's a lot of talent behind the project!
100%
My list: 1. CMBYN; 2. The King; 3. Dune; 4. Bones and All; 5. A Rainy Day in New York; 6. French Dispatch; 7. Little Women; 8. Miss Stevens; 9. Lady Bird: 10. Hot Summer Nights; 11. The Spinners. A Rainy Day in New York is witty, sweet and comfort movie. The entire cast including Timmy is stellar. Maybe, it's not the best Woody Allen movie, but it's still better than the 70% of current Oscar bazz movies IMHO. Forgot Beautiful Boy. Loved it. But, it is not in the top three movies
You make a good point with your list however I would put Miss Steven’s higher. But isn’t Spinners a short film?
@@thejessegrant You are right about Miss Stevens. I saw it before CMBYN. Immediately recognized Timmy from Homeland. He stole my heart from that TV series. I was a die hard Homeland fan back then. As for the Spinners, it's a short film, but very lovely!!!!! I enjoyed it a lot. Also, forgot a Beautiful Boy. I would put it before a Rainy Day in New York. Regardless, nothing surpasses my love for CMBYN. It had a big impact on me. For many years very few movies have impacted me and CMBYN is the one among 2010s movies.
Re: Hot Summer Nights, I think Timothée's scenes with Malaika were outstanding. Don't blame the jumbled, too complicated plot elements on Timmy! Same with Rainy Day in NY. His assignment was to play Woody Allen, essentially, wear clothes Woody Allen would wear, listen to music someone of Woody Allen's age would listen to, deliver lines only Woody Allen would say. Once I accepted that kooky feature of working on an Allen film I was able to enjoy the performance particularly his singing what turned out to be a catchy Chet Baker song.
Call Me by Your Name 🏆🥇Dune 🥈Miss Stevens 🥉
Miss Steven’s is great it was a hard choice between that and Bones and All
My All time favorite Call Me By Your Name
100% such a great and pretty much perfect movie
He is truly a Brilliant Artist ❤
I agree with your list although I would have put The Adderall Diaries as number three for the three worst movies Timothee has done. But then again he didn't have too much screen time as he played a younger version of James Franco in that flick.
Come on it was bad but not that bad ahahaha
The King … Wonka.
Beautiful boy
What??? I liked A Rainy Day in New York
I agree with everything you said. I recently re watched Dune, and I feel it's his most underrated performance to date. After watching Bones and All it's amazing to see how he grows as an actor from film to film. Like everyone else I can't wait to see Dune 2. The cast for that movie is amazing, and I feel it's going to be a career defining moment for everyone involved. I'm most excited to see him face off against Austin Butler & for him reunite with Florence Pugh on screen. 🔥 Video as always and Keep up the good work!
Appreciate it man and I will!
