I agree 1000 % . This show is so awesome & addictive. You’ll come to know all the characters and get to see some awesome character development. TWD just doesn’t focus on Walkers. It’s also a story about how humans interact with each other and what you may have perceived as your nature …pre-apocalypse can change. People are capable of strengths/ behaviors, they never thought possible. It tests human nature and humanity!
It was OK. Lets not act like it was the greatesy television show out there. After season 5, it got stale because it was the exact same stuff from the first few seasons, done again and again and again.
Accidentally clicked on this show on halloween in 2010 and haven’t looked back since. One of the greatest, if not the greatest tv show of all time. This episode shows you that no one is safe!! rick waking up in the hospital was a nice surprise for 28 days later fans. and as for the tank, what good is it if it has no fuel?It is no accident that the tanks, helicopters, and all the equipment of the military were standing where they were found at the height of the crisis.
I wish I could go back and re watch the entire series without knowing anything. This show is amazing, hope to see you watch it all the way through to the end and even the spin offs !
it really make you think of the importance to bring your loved one a bag of clothes while their in the hospital. LOL. Rick still in his gown. A guy named Greg Nicotero and his team did the zombie makeup, etc. This show had a talk show to watch after every episode called Talking Dead. Actor interviews, tidbits missed in the episodes.
You have started watching one of the greatest shows of all time. I didn't want to watch this show because I don't enjoy zombie movies/shows. I broke down and watched and became a huge fan. This is not a zombie show it is a human relationship show. I hope you continue to watch the whole series.
This is not a spoiler because it’s not mentioned in the show but Rick was in the hospital for 59 days 2 months which does explain why the flowers died and why the Zombie Apocalypse already started.
New to your channel and within the first few mins, you were like "that's not right, guess we gotta get used to this". I was all " oh you poor child...you have no idea..." I still haven't made it passed season 7...lol
Rick was in his coma between four and five weeks, or a little over a month. (It was revealed by one of the writers/producers in an after show) There is also a Webisode called "The Oath" which follows the story of the hospital and Doctors who looked after him and how the "Dont Open, Dead Inside" was added to the door and there is also one call "Torn Apart" that follow the Bicycle Girl

Welcome to TWD, man I wish i could see these episodes "for the first time" all over again. Such a fun experience and journey. But be careful, and watchout for spoilers. Most commenters are behaved, but maybe 10% (will unintentionally) and sometimes intentionally, spoil future episodes. Hope you have someone checking comments first. The more views you get, the more the spoilers will be attracted.
Best part of this show was that no-one was safe. None of them knew if they would make it through a series alive. Also, you might feel for the kids but truth is that kids are way more adaptable to changes in circumstances than adults. We've had longer to be used to things a certain way, to have a more rigid mind. One zombie novel series I read had kids that were often more terrifying than the grownups. Think Lord of the Flies, but worse. lol

Like my grandfather used to ask my grandmother when I was a kid, in their cute, tender cuddle moments (may they both rest in peace) "Why is everything about you so flawless to me?". Now I'm not suggesting anything because I wouldn't dare assume anything about someone I barely know but some details and common interests may have sparkled in my mind. Please be consistent. So many people hust react to the first season for the views but don't follow through. This along with GOT and stranger things are enough to build an audience. Please just follow through. Most of us watched this 13 years ago and seeing someone experience for the first time is beyond comforting and entertaining. Please follow thru. Other titles that get mad views Anything Marvel... Start at Iron man 1 and work you way through. Views galore. Star Wars shit(I'm not a fan but it gets hella views) People love Lost reactions. And anything new... Example: the last of of us on hbo will get you plenty of Views.

One thing to remember is that in this universe zombies don't exist in folklore or fiction so they are completely unknown to people.
