Really hope you guys continue this series, its amazing. I know alot of people say it went down hill after season 6/7 but I disagree. One thing to note is this show takes place in a universe where there hasnt been zombie movies, zombie games, or anything like that so the term "zombie" isnt one they know. For a bit of a time table, Rick was in a coma for about 4wks and there is an explanation about how Rick survived that long in the hospital but its in one of the TWD webisodes, there is also a webisode that tells the backstory of the "the bicycle walker" that Rick takes the bike from.
I agree! For me, the show never went downhill. I didn’t agree with some of the storylines choices the show runners made but I don’t think the show went downhill.
You should absolutely continue!! I have never been a fan of horror but I really don’t ER it as horror. I love the deeper meaning of this show. Family. People from different backgrounds, strangers to one another unite to for a family in order to survive. There’s lots of drama but the aspect of family, love, and loyalty is truly key to the series. My very 1st episode was in end of s4 (14) and I had to binge all episodes before the next episode aired. I fell in love with this show so quickly after purposely avoiding it due to the blood and guts. It is absolutely worth watching!!
I see a lot of comments in here where the show jumped shark after awhile. Of course it's a matter of opinion. I loved every single piece of this show. Yes, some seasons were better than others. But the show kept progressing and in my opinion deserves all of the acalades of any other series. Enjoy guys! Hope you continue. Greatest show in earth!
This show may not be "perfect" but it is pretty damn LEGENDARY. Great characters and story arcs. Don't let the 177 episode length disencourage you. From start to finish it's well worth the journey.
This is my favorite show. I hope you go on to watch more episodes. Since zombie movies/shows don't interest me, it shocked me that this could become a show that I love. TWD ended up not really being a zombie show it is more a survival show and how do you keep your humanity when the world as you know it ends.
This is not a spoiler because it’s not mentioned in the show but Rick was in the hospital for 59 days 2 months which does explain why the flowers died and why the Zombie Apocalypse already started.
9:44 - That Walker was played by Melissa Cowan who very much has two legs. She wore prosthetic make-up on the top half of her body and blue trousers like you said.
My favorite show ever!!! Yes, some episodes mabye not the best, but in all for me the best show. Saw the hole 11 seasons cuple times. Greetings from a 41 age mom of 3 from germany!
Omg! I got super exited when I opened RUclips and saw new walking dead reactors! I adore this show. To me it’s the best show ever! Even tho it’s finished, I watch reactors on a daily basis. I just can’t get enough of the show and I love to watch you guys react to this amazing show, I do hope hope y’all continue to watch the show 🙏🏻🙌🏻
When Covid hit and everything shut down, there was a photo of that same spot heading into Atlanta. It was practically identical, not a car on the road.
Yeah, you should continue this show. It was amazing for Me personally all the way through, but I think you should at least give the first few seasons a watch.
I'm glad you'll be reacting to The Walking Dead. I started reading the comics when they came out and loved seeing the characters come to life on TV. Incredible storyline and characters from Robert Kirkman. Perfect actors.
Love 💘 TWD. Even now it doesn't look just like a tv show, the episodes seem like short movies in quality. Greg Nicitero is a special FX genius(he even directs some episodes.). PLEASE watch more.
The first six seasons are peak TV! I think the rest is decent, but not to the same overall quality of that first half of the series 🙏🏾 This is easily one of my favorite pilot episodes as well, very good introduction to the world with compelling characters and intrigue for more! As a zombie fan myself, I might be biased lol
@@jjkilhij9531 S10 was great, too! S11 decent, S12 became better by each episode and concluded in an amazing finale. I said it once and will say it again: I will bend the knee to Angela Kang if I ever meet her.
7:43 to answer this, yes they do. Sometimes staff from the hospital will offer to do it, other times friends or family have to do it. When my dad was in a coma from covid my step mom had to cut and shave him.
Great show to watch from the beggining, I never missed an episode till late in the series but I've watched them all eventually, this one gets you from the start
I have a signed photo of the little girl in the opening from her first booth at ChicagoComicCon back then. Her mother was in the booth with her. They were both so excited was buying a photo.
I love this show, one of the few shows I stuck with for the whole run. Hope you guys will also stick with it, it's a whole other world like no other show. Thank you!
The best show ever! My second fav is Game of Thrones but I don’t know if any show will ever top TWD for me. I started at the time of mid-season three but bought seasons 1&2 and paid to stream the 1st half of S3. My teenage grandson and I watched all those episodes in 24 hours. We forced ourselves to stop at 3am and started back up on Saturday morning to finish up. After that I was hooked! I also watch Fear TWD, World Beyond (not as good but it was supposed to tie in the final seasons so I had to watch), TWD origins and Tales of TWD. None of the other WD shows are as good as the original series IMO (Fear is close) but I still had to watch them all. We super fans can’t wait for the 3 announced spin-offs that are now in the works, the continuing story of characters from the original series (portrayed by same actors). Watch, watch, watch! I watch RUclips reactions to the original series and follow my favorites. I like to relive my initial feelings of each episode through the eyes of the reactors.
CONTINUE. I am now a new follower just because y’all watching the walking dead 😂 the algorithm is doing it’s thing so def keep doing the watching dead or react to an episode of the Avatar the last airbender
Great reaction and commentary. I hope you continue to make reactions to TWD. This show has awesome characters and excellent writing, not to mention the great effects and make up. Each episode in the 11 seasons is an entertaining watch.
Yea I don’t watch much tv since with my previous job, I was just always at work when these shows would air. But I’d finally watch them years later. Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Bates Motel. I think I finally watched Walking Dead when the end of season 6 was airing. Breaking Bad I only watched maybe 3 years ago. But I was glad to be able to binge it. Gonna watch that reaction of yours next! Best show
Please watch the show. I subbed for it. The ups and downs. You won't be disappointed. I pry myself on my knowledge of knowing alot. You won't be disappointed. Bring on more
If this is the first episode season :) then please watch the first episode of Angel, which is a continuation (in a way) (sorta) of Buffy. I think you might like it better; Joss has gotten better at shows at this point.
So Josh , do you ever make Alex watch anything? Pilots should be an hour. So they knew at the start of the show that there were zombies? Otherwise why does he shoot the little girl? I watched a little of this but a little goes a long way.
This series blew me away when it first started.. loved the first few seasons of it, and then I read the comics that it was based on which was even better. Now I’m just trying to find the energy to finish off the last two seasons.
Walking Dead was a fantastic series, but I think I gave it up after s7 or 8 too. Personally, I’d like to see you guys follow up with Breaking Bad #1, Babylon 5 #2, even though BB has had the lowest viewership of all these. The one offs you guys have done are all good, though.
Views fell off pretty hard after this first one for the rest of the season so we did not continue. Could give it another chance one day if there’s a good time. We enjoyed the first season.

Nice reaction! I watched this show religiously for 10 seasons before calling it quits. The first 6 were definitely must-see tv. For some reason though I never went back and re-watched any episodes so this is the 1st time I watched the premiere since it debuted. Really interesting to see how it all began again! Of course you guys will be The Walking Dead by the time you finished that series....
I'm not hugely into zombie stuff, but I thought this show was well executed. Maybe don't watch it when you're sick though, like I was when I started it, because it made my illness seem more oppressive. It just wasn't the soothing, uplifting experience I probably should've had right then, but I still enjoyed it. Assuming I've got my timeline right, I quit watching after Season 3 (and was already flagging a bit during it), which focused more on post-apocalyptic human politics, which is actually closer to my normal interests, but I felt like the integrity/realism of the situation suffered a bit, and I think I was probably just exhausting my interest in the genre by then too. As I said, it's not my favorite genre, and it's a fairly restrictive one, so it was starting to feel a bit stale to me. But all things considered, it speaks well of the show that it managed to hold my attention for as long as it did. If it had been space opera of similar quality, I would've been unlikely to put it down.
While I do think they have a liking for TOS, the concept, the characters... they're just not hard-core Trekkies. Even when they get back to it I guarantee it will be much longer between episodes. Reacting to more series will be the explanation.
The first 2 seasons were good, but then it just got so old and more disgusting. Also, why don't their bodies start to fall apart being exposed to the elements, all the time, and all. Great reaction, though. You guys are fun to watch.
the first season of walking dead is a fantastic television show... unfortunately imo it never gets any better than season 1. It is downhill from season 1 on. Even though there are some iconic story moments, they never hit has good as season 1. And after season 6 I pretty much completely lost interest. My only real nitpick of ep1, the little girl zombie picks up a stuffed animal, yet no other zombie does anything similar ever again and the show zombie lore pretty much goes against it. The behind the scenes make up prep for the body by the bicycle is pretty neat to watch.
MORE WALKING DEAD IS COMING! We will be continuing Season 1 in February!
That "famous shot" is a perfectly staged version of a splash page in the comic.

it definitely went downhill after season 6. Basically when a certain character showed up things got a bit less grounded
