UTAS announced a semi-auto version of the UTS-15(the UTS-15A) a few years ago, but no new update so far. I really hope the semi-auto version comes out some day. It would be awesome.
@@pearljaime2 It's not out. They had difficulties developing it(weight issues) and put it on ice. I had a chance to talk to an employee not even a month ago. She said it might come in 2024 or later.
If the pump model is unreliable, what makes you think they'll get the semiautomatic version right? I like the idea of the gun quite a lot. Maybe the latest generation is actually reliable. The first few generations were dumpster fires. The only 2 bullpup/bullpump shotguns I've seen that aren't terrible, are the Standard Manufacturing DP-12, and the Kel-Tec KSG. And even those guns have issues. I'm not sure I'd trust my life with them, although people say the Kel-Tec is quite reliable, and the DP-12 is reliable as well now, after fixing some initial reliability issues. When the military deems one of them fit for combat, I'll consider getting one. The massive capacity is definitely a positive. Magazine fed shotguns are God awful, so this is the best they're going to do, unless they completely change shotgun shell designs.
@@DDDYLN new gen is definitely more reliable. Most issues were user error so they did a few things to make it harder to mess up like a spring assisted pump
UTS 15! Legendary Shotgun... If you manage to synchronize with it and shoot as a whole, it means 15 bullets are on target without upsetting you. With zero errors. My UTS 15 works perfectly...
Is your UTAS15 a gen 4......... If it's not, then that is why you short stroke the slide. Gen 4 is spring assisted on the slide and helps prevent the short stroke. Love my UTAS15. The was designed to be a door breech gun. Once it's empty sling to slide pull side arm, continue to clear building. Have fun
@MJ-rr4hd it will continue to feel all 9 rounds without skipping. But just from owning to UTS I wouldn't recommend it, over anything of the other double tube shotguns
For me it's to see which shotgun I could shoot and reload the fastest, considering the benelli is known for fast firing but holds less rounds while the other 2 are pumps and holds almost twice the amount of rounds. I also learn my skills and abilities when it comes to fast reloading with each one.
@@jhkleinberg2 what about when a new variant of the c virus come along and turns people in brain less violent zombies lol, I'm joking. But it's for entertainment and fun. And I do learn from it my self.
Looking into getting the UTS 15 do you like the shotgun if not trying to go for speed? It hold 15 shells I believe.. just wanted your opinion and I just subscribed great video looking forward to more
I do really like it. The only things I don't like about it is the grip to pump it is slippery unless you put some kind of grip tape on it, and the lack of being able to add other accessories to the pump portion. I wouldn't pass on getting it if you can.
I have one and it is great…..put a forward grip on it to help short stroking it…..check out a old video on RUclips from tooth and nail armory on how to modify the Utas 15

BUYER BEWARE on UTS15 I just purchased the UTAS 12 GA shotgun. It shot 15 rounds before complete failure. Firing pin doesn’t dimple the shell. I called them today. Jeff with UTAS told me they bought the rights to sell the gun in the USA to make money but they can’t get parts. “That’s the best I can tell you”. I asked about their warranty, clearly a manufacturers defect. He told me they can’t warranty it. I’m honestly wondering what UFO Jeff with UTAS dropped out of. This is literally the WORST purchase and customer FU I’ve had in the firearms industry. Jeff “gets paid hourly and they don’t pay him enough to explain this all day on the phone” I’m out $1,000. Take this gun off your list. I bought this gun due to this and other good reviews. Call them for yourself and say you have a issue with your UTAS 12 GA. For the love- please protect other people from buying ANYTHING from them. Jeff told me “made in the USA means they put some plastic on it”. Jeff also said the gun has over 500 pieces; which is apparently very overwhelming for him and the company. BUYER BEWARE on UTAS
I'm sorry that's happening to you! I wouldn't have recommended it to you or anyone else based off other things but what happend to you just add to the list. If you find out what happened to yours, would you please share it with us? Thanks!
Hi,we have 2018 model UTAS UTS15.First 300 shoot was okay, but now we have trouble loading. After service it goes on. So Benelli was King, and its still King. Our opinion.
Your kel tec set up isnt what I would run with. That shell deflector seems more trouble than it's worth when trying to reload quickly. The front grip would also feel unnatural to me.
For me that shell deflector is needed because I get hit on the wrist by the shells. It wasn't to much fun to shoot with out it. The front grip did take some getting use to but I like it because it's short and made of aluminum with a flash light. Great set for the home defense roll.

My UTS 15 works perfectly...
I really need more practice with mine but I enjoy it every time I take it out. Thanks for watching!
I agree 100% mine will cycle flawlessly super fast! I use it a lot though. I’ll have to time myself blasting off a box of rounds like yourself.
I've been wanting to get the UTAS 15 for a while now. Might just pick one up, thanks for the content.
We need a review of the Gen 5 UTS 15
Now if you ever get your hands on a DP12....lol. Great video, man.
Good stuff... thanks for doing this... a real comparison for a normal guy.
There's a reason the shit kicking U.S marines have the M4 contracted. Alsp RIP today for those lost.
Even if the others were faster, I would still prefer the m4. Such a good looking, quality firearm.

Thanks, I didn't know thats what they were made for. That explains a lot. I have the gen 3
Gen 5 is now out
question. in uts 15 if I have 6 shells in left tube and 3 shells in right tube. will it automatically use both tubes and give me 9 shots total?

what about mossberg 590m? is it better than uts 15?
@@MJ-rr4hd yes!

Great review 👍
Safe your pennies & buy the M4... Simply the best autoloader out there. But cheap isn't in the equation!
Remington versa max tactical has been proven every bit as reliable at fraction of the price...sadly no longer made
