    Oh, Nikki, I’m so sorry to hear you’re giving up your Etsy business. I’m the person who wrote to you last fall and recommended the Happy. I’ve had mine for 13 years now, and just bought my second one. Their support is incredible, and I’ve never had a problem with my old machine, other than human error on my part. I just ran my old one 8 hours yesterday, and my stitches came out beautifully, and no problems. I wish you the best of luck with your new job, and I hope you sell your machine quickly. Hopefully, I’ll see you again on Etsy!

    Nikki, I love your RUclips Show!!! I was at the Long Beach show where Bill was. I have only just recently met him. Great Guy and lots of good information!!! We have a family business and I do all the Embroidery. I have Barudan machines. If you can get one, you will probably never have any more troubles!!!!! You are the one that got me doing the ITH purses from Urban Threads!!! I had never done an ITH project before!! You are so creative and very helpful!! You talked about learning to Digitize, I am trying to learn, just not enough hours in the day!! I belong to a Embroidery group that might really help you on learning digitizing. Its called OML Embroidery University, they also have a Facebook page. On their web site, lots of Videos on digitizing. They have recently started a Sew Along on Saturdays, where we work on a project. So many people in the group to help with questions!!!! Like you said, its so hard to find good help or information for Embroidery. I happened to find the OML group, because I needed help with my software. I understand your Frustration, we also do Chenille patches for Letter Jackets, no help out there, even the company that makes the software, doesnt really offer any help!!! I know you have to do what is best for you and your family, but you might look into the OML group and maybe there is someone else that has that type of machine?? Everyone is always willing to help. Praying that all works out for you!! I hope I will still see more of your Videos!!! Chin Up and Keep Going!!!!!!

    Like everything else there is a learning curve for everything. Many times people see others doing something and assume they too can easily do it, forgetting that successful people probably had extensive history around embroidery. Running machine is one thing, then digitizing is another.. it definitely takes time to learn all of it.

The tech’s all told me to stay away from the Chinese machines Ricoma, Happy, The Butterfly, Avante, I was told to stay away from them I was told by a tech to not purchase a Melco either. The said years ago Melco was good but not now because it’s gone to the Chinese side. I hope all works out for you and thanks again.

    Hello Nikki's
    I'm sorry for what you've been through with that machine.
    Maybe too late, but the reality of things is that few embroidery machine companies have special techniques in it, I think the only company that has such techniques is Tajima, it is not the best machine but it is among the top 3, barudan Happy "Amaya" who was Broder before, she all does an excellent job knowing how to use them, but I mentioned once more Tajima is easier to fix the parts are available in more places, and above all more technical, but for quality I recommend Happy or Barudan

However, if you ever want to get a multi needle machine, my husband and I have an 8 needle Tajima Sai. We had a bit of a learning curve, but we created a Tajima Sai FB group. @@NikkiVelazquez I felt for you when I saw you struggling with your Redline. I had similar issues with my single needle Brother NQ1600E embroidery machine which was problem after problem after problem. It was a total nightmare. This happened in 2019 and I got them to replace my machine with a new one, but it really made me nervous. I now have an extremely expensive paperweight because even though I tested the replacement, I'm afraid to use it. To this day, I get nervous with my multi needle because I remember all the stress that my Brother caused me.
      I need to ask you something though. I know you have tutorials on different Disorderly Threads zippered bags. Can you please tell me if you have to cut out the fabric pieces to the exact size, or is it enough to cover the stitch area? The reason I ask is that I'm not the best at cutting anything straight. I failed cutting 101 in school. 🤣 Thanks.

    • @NikkiVelazquez
      @NikkiVelazquez  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@lindascraftsandthings915 the good thing about in the hoop is that you don't have to be exact. Just cut it bigger than the placement stitch area. You trim it afterwards .

They just are not made for fulltime use. I cannot count the times I took them apart already. I can take apart a single head and put it back together in recordtime and blind by now, but I feel this should not be my job. And each time you have a large job at least one of them throws a tantrum and won’t work 🙄
