Nikki I am praying for you. I get this frustrated and was almost driven to get the 625 and just make stuff for myself.
My frustration tolerance level is in the ground. Bless you and Good Luck. Best wishes whatever you do.

I am not a tech, but tell Redline that you may have a bad color change stepper motor driver. The fact that the head keeps moving off of the set position, could lead to banging. If you husband is an auto mechanic, ask him to put a dial indicator on the side of the needle bar and run a single color design. If the needle bar moves while the machine is running, the color change motor is losing power cause the motor to no longer hold position leading to your needle not working and banging.

Brand new subscriber here and a professional embroiderer. In 16 yrs I have never had that sort of banging sound. That is scary stuff! Hope your normal tech gets back with you quickly. I am sure your machine is on a Tajina base..e.g. my commercial machine is a Toyota 9000, but of course the base line machine is Tajima. If you are in Tx I have a name for you. Javier and he works for Datastotch in Weatherford Tx. He's fantastic even though my machine has been out of warranty for yrs. He may do a phone consult or email ... and he is fantastic. If your Redline is still in warranty they need to get it going. I will pray. We had a store so I know this is Job1for you.!

Hi there! Thanks for subscribing! I never got any warranty paperwork. I was referred to their website and that's it. The last thing they had me do was push on the reciprocator with a screwdriver. It wouldn't move, but they insisted that I try running a design again to see if that fixed whatever's wrong. Makes no sense, but I'm doing what they ask so nobody can put any blame on me. Plus I'd like to be able to, you know, WORK! I got nothing made today. I'm in Florida and Bill Garvin is my tech.

Oh dear. When I got your vid notification I was hoping “yay, it’s fixed”! Sorry that’s not the case. Glad you caught the banging noise on vid. Perhaps it’ll tell your Tech what’s going on. Hang in there. Meanwhile, big hugs to you and hope it’s not too much longer before your trusted tech returns to your area. Thanks for update. 💕

Did you tell them at Redline this is how you make your living and you need Help NOW!!! When is Bill suppose to come check your machine? I hope it is just something that has come unscrewed!! Sewing on Stabilizer and sewing on your product should not be an issue!! I use the same size needle for everything. I think they are just trying to make up things. I hate to say it, but sometimes you have to get mean to get help!! We are all so use to being kind that they will just walk all over you!! Praying for Good News!!!!!
