I had this issue today on my ‘04 S60R. Same error message and symptoms. After doing some research I was dreading to have to remove and clean the TB. I came across a recalibration setup and it fixed the problem. Put the key in the ignition and turn it to position II, then for 10 seconds slowly press the accelerator to the floor and take another 10 seconds to release the accelerator. It ran fine even with the code still on. I did erase it after though.
Great job! A dealer would've charged you at least $750 to do that. Glad it worked out for you, sir. I did the same job on my son's C70, but didn't clear the codes. Getting ready to do that right now!
Did that work for you because I cleared the code without cleaning the throttle body and it ran fine but when I started it up again it went back to limp mode
@@romantsyganov427 No it did not. I have installed two different new Pedal sensors, ETMs, and one used ECU. Still same condition. Also inspected all wiring harness from the ECU to the ETM, pedal sensor, etc. Now I'm trying a completely New ECU and fresh programming. Nothing makes sense as to why the car is still doing this. I'll update you if we figure this out. Please let me know if you find a solution.
Has this permanently fixed the problem because I have the same problem and when I clear the code it runs well but once I start it up again after that it goes back to limp mode.
My car is the exact model it keeps surging and reving it says reduced engine performance and check engine turns on what's the solution you be saving my life
Blowing off? It shoud be sucking in not blowing. Im not sure what kind of motor you r running but from the little I know it draws in. Thats why its called intake.
Thank you-step by step direction was excellent. Same problem-your directions were great.
Glad it helped!
