So, is this rugby's best move? It's certainly one of the most common, but what do you think?
Love that you’re highlighting MLR. I think a lot of these concepts are easier to see in MLR; it’s still advanced but is slow enough for mere mortals to understand.
Hi Will, I've really enjoying taking a look into MLR over the last 3 seasons. It's really grown each year and this is by far the best quality I've seen in the league. Finding examples of good play is pretty easy!
Brilliantly explained mate!
Thank you for taking a look!
Great analysis and love the use of North American rugby to showcase shape plays that the rest of the world knows, but also doesn't always get
Thanks, Rory. I'm really enjoying looking at MLR. Definitely a league on the up!
The move is brilliant but in all honesty we can say that for it to be competing for the best move ever, 10 has to hold the ball longer for it to be effective as he didn't interest the 13 (even though he misses the tackle but that is a defensive mistake not an offensive creation)
I love these rugby league plays coming into union!!
Fair comment! The play itself is one of my favourites but I agree that it's not been nailed 100%. League has had such a big influence and a positive one too!
@@GeraintDaviesGDD Also I feel the fullback should stick to the inside man, because the break some meters inside left the other 15 with a more comfortable space to attack and he wasn't near the touch line either, so I feel like a quicker defense and a bit more of effort from the backs of not sticking to a man yet following the sweeper defense more aggressively could have not ended in a try against them. There was a similar play like this an U20 world cup match this week that didn't end in try bcs the defenders knew to not leave an inside break and to run the hell out towards the touchline while blocking inside options.
what would the name of this move be
Hi Charlies, I call it 'T' as the players are aligned in a T shape!
@@GeraintDaviesGDD thanks mate
It is not
Thanks for taking a look!
