But thats a big part of succes - the unreliable youtubers always annoy me and than i unsubscribe - but if you are consistent and have quality you will eventually have succes
I think I speak for most of us weirdos who have listened to the original podcasts to death when I say you two really breathe life back into them with your reactions 👍
The story of the caveman exhumed in Ireland with gel in his hair is true also, but as Karl's brain is like a shredder, it stripped away all of the details. It was in fact a "bog man" - a well-preserved head and torso of a man, roughly 2,000 years old, which was found in a peat bog in the wetlands of Ireland. He had the residue of plant oils and resins in strands of his hair, which was said to be an early example of an Iron Age hair gel to keep their hair in good condition. I find it incredible that Karl walked away from hearing this news with - "there was a caveman found in the ground in Ireland wearing no shoes but he had hair gel in his hair."
Did it not also have shoes with leather straps that looked like Adidas symbols and everyone was saying it had Adidas on.. maybe a different one but i think Karl talked about that before
I was recently made redundant and your channel has helped me stay positive so much. It s hard getting to sleep overthinking everything but I watch your channel and it completely takes my mind off lifes problems and makes me feel happy, your laughter is so infectious it's a real uplift. If you'd like to see a modern take on slapstick comedy check out a show called Bottom, starring Rick Mail and Ade Edmondson. Thank you for being you and providing this channel, and keep on being you.
Karl has mentioned in the past that he just reads the headlines (most of the times), and that you don't need to read the whole story to know what's it about. Then he just uses the man in his brain to come up with the rest ;)
You're really smashing these reactions out, I don't usually comment but wanted to say I really appreciate your content, you have a great sense of humour and you seem like such a nice dude as well
A sort of an heart attack! It was a bee attack! Nice to meet your friend Josh! You're great! Greetings from PORTUGAL and health wealth happiness for both of you and your family and loved ones! Cheers
Karl has a good point about octopuses being weird or ‘the furthest thing from us’, they look so different or alien to us that they have inspired some aliens in pop culture, such as in War of the Worlds.
I've loved re-watching these Ricky Gervais show episodes with you....I notice like me you laugh more out loud when Ricky laughs! You should definitely watch any of his outtakes.....the office, extras, Derek....Ghost town are my favourites 🙂
Congratulations on 40k bro, Ricky Gervais Show is one of my favourite things ever so following your journey through the discovery of Karl Pilkington . Really glad you enjoy it :)
Hey guys, Taylor you are looking tired today, a good laugh before sleep will work great. Ricky and Steve go as if Karl is a bit thick, but alot of what he comes out with is pretty clever, wont be forgetting the jellyfish in a trifle poem, that was clever and funny.
I am glad you enjoy this.. I am the only one in my group of friends who is a fan of Karl. I tried and they just don't get it. I downloaded a torrent years ago that had them all in it. All XFM seasons and podcasts. I've heard them all 100s of times. I use them on 12 hour shifts to get me through the night, often laughing out loud to myself. People use them to sleep but i can't as it makes me laugh
That thing about a caveman that Karl was talking about was sort of true aswell. It was a body they found in a bog in Ireland. He's been named Clonycavan man and he had a sort of hair gel in his hair made of pine resin. I learned about him while at school in my archaeology class. So Karl does indeed know a thing or two, it just goes through his filter and comes out as a caveman with hairgel😂😂
Not specifically connected to this video, but I was just thinking about my recent man-crush on Josh, which made me think of recommending this: Flight of the Conchords - Bret, you've got it going on. I've seen FotC recommended here a few times earlier, and thought I'd throw one out there.
It's so interesting watching Americans watch this because it really is British humour. But I also find the Ricky Gervais show a perfect cure for a bad day
Nice to see Taylor back. Just one issue when I watch these reactions on my phone there's a lil subscribe picture in the bottom right corner infront of the video. Any chance this can be moved. Loving the content tho keep it coming
s mcb that’s a massive difference between North America vs the rest of the anglosphere. Britain and Australia use it regularly, the US and Canada it’s worse than punching someone
James Todd it was only until a couple of years ago I learned that we don’t care as much as I thought, growing up I always assumed it was the most offensive thing to call someone
@@jamestodd1104 ..Yep, that's true, I'm a Londoner born and bred, to Irish parents..Growing up, this word meant different things, depending on how it was said, the inflection behind it and the intent.. When I phone my oldest brother or vice versa, the first thing we say is "Wtf do you want, you c***!!..An outsider over hearing this would probably be shocked but for us it's light hearted piss-taking!!
@@jamestodd1104 It's far more common in Canada than the USA, but there is still people who get very offended by it. We're like halfway between the USA and Australia in amount of Cunt's said per 100 words.
Yeah America's a bit silly for considering it to be a gender specific insult. I mean guys don't take such offence to being called a dick. Get over yourselves.
I notice you're into Karl's philosophy of life, and I have a recommendation based on that. It isn't good for video content as there aren't many laugh out loud bits, but you might enjoy it as a show. "Karl Pilkington - Satisfied Fool " from 2007 is an interesting set of interactions Karl had with philosophers, conspiracy theorists and authors. No real Ricky or Steve involvement as far as I could tell.
I can’t remember the order of the series I hope you haven’t seen his hospital poem yet...I want to see the reaction to that....it’s amazing...I need to start watching the end before I comment...former heroin addict...9.5 years sober, no offense taken
The "if moths had eyes" followed by Ricky's immediate "fuck me!!!" is one of my favourite moments of the show.
Josh has a very British sense of humour👏🏽
Definitely. Thought that the other day.
British humour is just to see someone suffer
Raid: Shadow legends - 😂😂it is
Kaiser Haux - that’s why we enjoyed both world wars so much
It is great that a non brit appreciates Karl. Karl is comedy gold.
I don’t know anyone that’s as consistent as this guy. I respect the work rate so much
Totally agree!! Every day without fail!!
i thinkit helps that he really enjoys it aswell
@@alistaircurrie2864 was just about to say the same thing

Love how they draw Clive Warren when they show James Lipton

'it would be spiteful to put jellyfish in a trifle' is the greatest poem ever written

From what I remember the people who discovered the body phoned the police as it looked like someone who had died recently.
don't forget "it was well old and was here when dinosaurs were here" lmao
Did it not also have shoes with leather straps that looked like Adidas symbols and everyone was saying it had Adidas on.. maybe a different one but i think Karl talked about that before
Scandinavian tree sap was in his hair, had a nipple cut off disembouled and strangled! As was the norm for Kings when crops failed back then’
I love the Karl filter so much
"they found them both within the same distance"
That is an amazing thing to say.
Don't skip the intro for series 3 episode 1. It has a good start. Love your reactions!
I want to quote some of it but I dont wanna do any spoilers 😂 First time I heard if from the podcasts I cried laughing ! 😂😂
You two are the cuuuutest! Also, I love how respectful you treat each other.
'Does you in' is a British phrase for 'kills you'.
Yes it does, it’s a slang term. You can also say snuf your lid, kick the bucket, or describe some as brown bread If they died
I know that from "My Fair Lady." 😁
Also means "wear you out" and "does me (my) head in" means "it annoys me", though you can also say "does your head in", and still mean it subjectively
Double the laughs before bed, this is medicine for today’s world.
Fuckin ell calm it down Adam
@@ScooterSkillsYolo Calm what down ?
Yay she's back.
The prehistoric guy found in a bog with hair gel, or the ~2000BC equivalent of hair gel, is a real thing. Found in Ireland. Carl was right, again.
Ricky gervais show and An idiot abroad before bed every night, keep it up mate and stay safe everyone❤️
I’m from UK, I fall asleep to these now. Goodnight gang and thanks again josh! Favourite channel
How do you sleep through Ricky's hyena-castration laugh?
"They found them both within the same distance" is probably the most mind blowing sentence.
Makes sense to me somehow
That is my favorite episode ever! I’ve watched 5 times and still laugh until I cry!😂😂😂😂

I love you guys , a real breath of fresh air.
Who else thinks that Josh and Ricky’s laughs combined could cure a lot of the world’s problems?!
You said you were looking for other full episodes to do after these, you should do full inbetweeners......😁
Respect for the constant uploads my guy!
Karl has a good point about octopuses being weird or ‘the furthest thing from us’, they look so different or alien to us that they have inspired some aliens in pop culture, such as in War of the Worlds.
Keep them coming ..in tears with laughter
Josh did Tay dirty at the end 😭😂😂😂heroine 😅😂
This has got to be the funniest episode ever😂
Cool to have Taylor back!!
The short poem is excellent. For anyone that didn’t know triffle Is a desert in the uk which contains jelly or jello in American so it really works.

I don’t know why Ricky uses Fahrenheit. We use Celsius in the UK
Saying 100°F is way more dramatic sounding than 37°C.
Nah this one was too fucking funny... the way Taylor rolls her eyes at some of Karl’s philosophies made me cry 😂
When I think about this show I always think about Karl talking about the octopus "Hang on a minute what is this" hahaha it makes me laugh so much
3 more British sit coms i recommend are Coupling, The Royle Family and Outnumbered.
I freaking love this show. Do you listen to the old recordings from XFM?
They do say once you go crack you don't go back 😂😂
Trying not to laff too much, my daughter is at work tomorrow n she already told me off once 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Try “life’s too short” with Warwick Davies. It’s really good and written by Ricky Gervais
Congrats on 40k guys. Crazy how quickly you're gaining subs!

Great sense of humour buddy for a yank apart from saying sorry after every joke you make.
'Taylor likes to get drunk' 🤣

I eat jellyfish and i kinda like it. Where i'm from in Borneo, it's a delicacy.

The blue ring octopus is one of the most deadly animals around but, it has to bite you.
I have read it can release its toxin into the surrounding water and stun/kill prey, but yeah... definitely not kill humans with it.
After the ricky gervais Show you NEED to check out come fly with me dude, you’ll fucking love it I hope!
This was a great episode!!!
Jelly fish live for a year mostly but some can live up to 20 years in captivity,I don’t think anything is immortal.

Please watch ‘Life’s too Short’ next! More Ricky and friends :)
