I remember on all the old trucks I have driven had the fifth wheel grounded and when it broke I had no trailer lights
It is my understanding that the old school drivers put a swan hood ornament on when the truck was paid off
be cool if someone build a clear see thru hood on a build

The grounded fifth wheel, back in the day was to help ground trailer for lights.
The ground on the 5th wheel was for the trailer lights is what i always seen.

Great video guys, Willie’s blue truck was bought in the US as a basic truck, shipped back to the United Kingdom - everything from the design, paint, chrome and all the custom work was done over here in the United Kingdom 29 years ago. Regards, Paul.
