At 54yrs of age I switched to a strength maintaining/gaining program that mimics the season were in. In Fall I will switch to more heavy lifting like deadlifts and squats to mimic getting a snowmobile unstuck or bucking wood. I incorporate HiiT towards Summer for Hiking, Cycling, Swimming. Great topic today! I played for my wife.🎉❤
Here we go again. Why do you blindly agree that CO2 from food transportation is a problem.? CO2 is not a problem. In that scenario, the food sprayed with pesticides is a bigger issue than the non issue of CO2.
There's a big double standard. When men use treatments or artificially enhance their appearance women don't like it, but they themselves do it all the time. It's hilarious
I am good if men want to care for their skin. My husband's face and neck look 20 years older than his body. The wrinkles are bad. People think he's my father...because I am taking care of my skin, I look 15 years younger than age.
You are talking about "Europe", as if it's one country, I don't know where in Europe were you, we live in Nordic do not get seasonal fruit or veggie, everything's trucked in from other country nearest is Netherland, furthest Peru. We are not all live the same life style in"Europe", you probably was holidaying in France or Italy
Don't get me wrong creatine has major benefits. But for some of us those benefits are negated by unavoidable negative reactions as well. It feels as if these negative reactions are superficially addressed as potential balding, but there are serious insomnia issues, anxiety and depression increased etc.
Its not creatine thats doing that to you. Research studies show no evidence of hair loss or sleep reduction effects. Research has also shown that it reduces anxiety and depression.
@bg1654 lol studies. There is so many people reporting the same effects. How do you not understand that creatine is going to affect people differently?
Creatine has side effects that people don't know about them. Since two years ago I have tenittus (ringing in the ears) and every tine when I take creatine the ringing gets louder. Nobody knows about this side effect but is present in my case.
@asdf1991asdf "lol studies" meanwhile youre spouting the equivalent of my cousin's ex's brother's sister-wife told me that her aunt told her that creatine gave her dog AIDS. Yep... thats totally credible.
All of this sounds very exciting, and I’m doing as much of this as I can AFFORD. Slowly but surely the costs will come down and I’m incorporating in things a bit at a time.
Mike, did you see tha study with DOI 10.1186/s12916-024-03513-w / would you have a look at it, care to comment? Seems they at least took care to remove some confounders.
Love red meat, I never really feel fully satisfied and happy til I have my big burger cooked in olive oil with some sliced garlic in the pan 🤤 And if you're in Austin you can find good eggs at HEB, the Central Market organic brand, with the yellow label Most of them are brown, thick shells with nice dark blood orange yolks 💪
My friend Jim Nasium who owns a fitness center says many of those man made machines are not natural. I almost got kicked out of his gym when I tried to walk out the door with a dumbbell, heck the sign on the wall said free weights.
JJ I have never seen such muscle in a woman's bat wings.except in a friend who takes hrt. Do you also take Hrt or is there really a way for us menopausal women to get that muscle toned. thanks
@dianewhite1816 yes you can, my gf is 59 with very similar tone and vascularity, she doesn't lift but is a yoga instructor and runs or bikes daily and take hrt. Obviously genetics play a role but long term consistent works looks just like that.
Please stop repeating and validating this silly excuse about fear of bulking up. Women are not afraid of getting too muscular and manly, they are afraid of hard work in the gym. It is all just an excuse not to weight train. Because after you start you immediately realize how hard (close to impossible) it is to gain pure muscle mass and look muscular without hormonal supplementation.
This supplement can have serious health problems for high blood pressure and liver functions and kidney functions, also weight gain from water retention for both men and women. The effect on sleep is also a possible concern. Not everyone should be taking it.

Why is she even talking about calories? They are irrelevant to the subject. If you want to increase your caloric intake, get in a sauna. If you want to decrease your caloric intake, jump in an ice bath. Calories are only thermal energy. Instead of tracking calories, track macros. It gives you useful information.

I have no idea wth they are doing to them, but I notice that even tho they are "organic" they lasts months and months while still looking plastic fresh, it's actually disgusting to know I ate some and how this is even legal, I can't grasp...

63 years old hiking off trails through forest, climbing up steep hills is my workout 😅 fresh air, and sunlight .
Love it! My dog motivates me to walk everyday. Must think on your wavelength and make it more vigorous. 👏
I have loved JJ for over 10 years. Thank you for having her on!!!

Be careful with creatinine side effects because they are real. Some people can benefit but not everyone is a good candidate.
Great interview. I normally take my TRX when I travel as well
My comment has nothing to do with the video, but i just finished a 10 mile run.

Oh yes, pre/postmenopausal women without HRT look exactly like this. Yes, it's all about training and diet, got you. /s
My comment has nothing to do with this video, but I just finished a 10 mile run and burned 1760 calories. I hope this helps the algorithm.

What's the hairloss myth?

I’ve been injured at the gym, even in my 20’s & 30’s, there’s a definite risk.. the older we get we should be have professional coaching
You don't need coaching if you did it for decades!

Batwings exist because they are fat. Get lean and the batwings go away showing the muscle underneath.
