      Thank you for posting this great question as this would help many and sorry that it's not clear in the video. You would engage the root chakra lock when you exhale fully. You'll continue engaging the root chakra lock as you inhale for 45 seconds breath hold and only after releasing the bandha. Sending much love and blessings for your meditation practice.       @@TheSchoolofBreath Hey, thank you! Do you have these breathworks that we practice in these videos for more advanced level in the membership content? :-) Also, one question. When you do the Kapalbhati Pranayama breath, after you are done with the short breaths, do you pull up the stomach immediately when you exhale to hold it that way or do you release your stomach when you exhale and only then you pull it in?

      @@_schumi0183 After you complete the series of short, forceful exhalations, you pull your stomach in immediately after the last short breath, which essentially becomes a longer exhale. This action pulls the diaphragm up. In even more advanced practice, you can combine this with the root lock (Mula Bandha), where you contract the perineum muscles. This helps in locking the energy within your body and enhances the benefits of the practice.       This was my 7th day of breathing practice; I feel so relaxed and calm. I actually have high blood pressure and I was freaking me out . The results on 7th day my BP is back to normal . My mornings are productive and feel energetic. Thank you Guruji. God bless you🙏

    I am having blood pressure, can I do tummo breathing and other breathing exercises as shown in the video.

      Hi Karen ! It's great that you're attentive to how your body responds during these practices. Sometimes, headaches can occur when starting new breathing exercises, especially if you are not used to them. This could be due to several reasons such as overexertion, tension, or even dehydration.
      Here are a few tips that might help:
      Take it Slow: Ensure you're not pushing yourself too hard. Start with shorter sessions and gradually increase the duration as you become more comfortable.
      Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water before and after your practice to keep your body well-hydrated.

      @@TheSchoolofBreath thank you so much for that response. It seems whenever I get really spiritually high I get a headache. This wasn't as strong as it usually is. And it did go away as I did my chair yoga. I have mobility issues that why I'm working on breath work and other exercises to keep as healthy as I can be. I love all your videos and appreciate them for they have been very helpful. Many Blessings to you as you have Blessed me! I know how important the breathe is to spiritual and physical well being.     Nice effort. I believe you're transitions are a little quick and vague. Being a guy who tried your breathwork for the first time today... I could not understand what you're saying because you talk too fast. Had to keep rewinding. The transitions were a little unclear. I made it work and it was pretty good. Just some feedback. I think I've tried every other breathwork channel on RUclips and I usually understand what they're saying especially on the transitions.. Like when to breathe out fully, hold at the top or at the bottom. I never really knew if I was holding on the inhale or exhale on these.
    I liked the background music and 30 second meditations though... Especially with the peaceful 🔔 bells.

      That's a relevant question and may help many . We're trying to get the energy to flow and whichever body partr the energy gets stuck, that's where you feel the pain.     I struggled with maintaining a constant rhythm with the breath of fire. I'd often lose track.
    Can this improve over time? I'd like to try this for 30 days.
    I hold my breath due to stress and breathe from my chest rather than stomach and often clench so I'm exhausted.
    I'd like to see if this can get me moving more so I can go back to exercise classes and gym.
    My stomach is in constant knot, it needs loosening!

      It takes a bit of practice to get the rhythm, but you'll get used to it
