I am started watching all your videos and I watch it till end. This video was so inspiring I tried many times to build a free blog but I drop in between because I lose motivation. And think it will not gonna work. But after this video I am so motivated to make my own website and start it all again.

That can definitely be difficult! I was talking to someone today about that and what I like to do is not follow people within my niche that can directly influence the content that I create! I know it sounds crazy but then I'm less likely to take other people's ideas and it forces me to be 100% original!

Hi, I've recently gone self hosted after loads of research and your recommendation of blue host. I borrowed the money from my brother as I got made redundant due to the current climate. Im so new to this but I'm optimistic and know I can do this, however I'm not too sure where to start. Great video and tips. I agree about being original. I'm sometimes inspired by other people's blog post ideas, but it tends to be better to find a fresh angle on any particular subject. I blog at: paulathewriter.com. I personally blog mainly so that I can build an audience, and a brand, and share thoughts and ideas about writing related topics. At the moment, I'm not focusing as much on blogging and social media, because I really need to concentrate more on my fiction. It can be challenging, trying to find the right balance. Your tips always help and inspire me. 😃💖
I completely agree. Whenever I come up with my own ideas I tend to think that they perform better. But sometimes you need to draw that inspiration to keep the creative juices flowing!

Hey, Cathrin! Thanks for sharing these tips. Very helpful! Personally, I grew fairly quickly my first year (to 3k and over 100 subscribers to my blog) but it has become stagnant. So my motivation has definitely dropped with it. I think the whole IG algorithm is getting to me so I wanna try RUclips out as well. I think I'll also try showing up more and consistently not only on my feed but on my stories as well, as you suggested. I will work on posting consistently again and on a set schedule. It's just so intimidating! haha. Anyways, thanks again!
