  • The old Nabisco plant in Bergen County is coming down to make way for a new warehouse development, but as CBS2's Christine Sloan reports, some people are concerned about the construction.

    Implosion is scheduled for April 15th at 8am. Looking forward to taking my drone out there that day.

    Ppl just love to complain. They complain bc nothing was being done with it since it closed and now something is being done and they still complain. "What if my house collapse?" That's why everyone has insurance on their homes.

    They never use absolutes. They never say "All". They say "All Known" and "All Identified". There will still be some in the dust cloud along with traces of heavy metals, mold and respirable silica.

    They need to create a dome tent around the construction site

    As long as they put up red danger tape no dangerous dust can escape the area.

    I sure there is a better way to bring down buildings, putting a huge blanket witch is made for building demolition to avoid sound and dust.
