Looks like a blast and I would totally be on board with getting one. Just wish the range and speed were a bit higher, but who knows maybe if they prove popular enough, Honda might make it happen.
There are many of these in Houston in the texas medical center. We have to park in garages that are many blocks from the buildings we actually work at. We have tons of people with amazon e-scooters that go in the back of the car. Then people do the 1.5 mi each way at the beginning and end of the day. Big range or speed isn’t needed. A low price is. The ability to quickly (10 seconds) deploy it is. (Failed in this video). Getting used 2x a day, every day is value I think may get overlooked. Not an owner, just an observer of where I see these types of things being used currently.
@@alexnutcasio936I’ve been following Hondas site for this thing and definitely plan to get one. Not only have your dealer sold out but apparently the complete inventory has sold out. Preorders are open, but don’t ship till late February sometime and that’s totally fine with me as I actually want a 2024 model just in case something improves/changes slightly, etc. I doubt it but you never know! Fingers crossed they keep it on the market much longer than the Motocompo.
Do not see the advantage over standard electric scooters with 8" wheels. They are more compact, weight less , easier and quicker to fold and unfold than this Honda's design exercise.
when folded it looks like a standard sim card
Nice. 40lbs is way lighter than most e-bikes

Looks like a power bank or a jump starter for a electric car
Could be a useaful secondary purpose use when the power goes out from winter storms.
I'd rather walk...
Looks neat but I can’t see it being a hit in the U.S.
Who is it for?
👲👲
I predict it flopping. E scooters already do a better job.
My dealer is sold out. Got mine a month ago and it’s a blast.
When you know, you know!

It doesn’t compete with the standup scooters. Different unit, different market.
Did you miss the part where the ones from the 70s are still around? Reliability and quality that i expect to last.
No.
