I attentively listened to the whole conversation. Enjoyed it.
Being myself a ardent student of Spirituality, I feel like answering one of your question bout the definition of Success.
Actually this question of Success doesn't even arise because We are fundamentally Spiritual beings having a human experience which is temporary. We ( Spirit/Soul) have come on a visit to planet earth. Purpose is to enjoy the visit enjoy the limited journey of 70-80-90-100 years which you have just like you enjoy your holiday going to Kullu Manali or Goa or elsewhere.

Once again an excellent podcast with Jaya ji. However, one thing which was missing during the entire episode was Jaya ji never spoke once about Swami Vivekananda. Any discussion on vedantic philosophy is incomplete without mentioning Swami Vivekananda. It was he who introduced and popularised vedantic philosophy to the western world . Also, I would request you once again to bring Swami Sarvapriyanand ji Maharaj in your podcast .

As you rightly mentioned it’s not easy to be consistent with any commitments in this world of distractions and looking inwards can sometimes or many times be challenging. Such podcasts as this helps seekers with an assurance to move forward with confidence and helps them to stay on track and not lose direction towards higher goals towards realization or enlightenment. Thank you Jaya ji for sharing your wonderful thoughts and insights and Shoba ji for asking the right questions to extract such wisdom.

    Excellent discussion.
    - I get the larger point she is making. I find analogies that sound like ‘miracles’ hard to believe and standardize. The athlete with broken shoes, finding dissimilar footwear in a garbage and winning. This may be so. Outliers do exist. But most people can’t do that. Pretty soon we will be walking on water, leaping across oceans and flying to Mars with just “happy” thoughts.
Spirituality is in every being. But survival - food, water, shelter, physical security occupy the mind. Unless anxiety around basic necessities is resolved, it is very hard to tap into the spiritual in oneself.
    Great talk though.

    Hello Ms Shobha,
Loved this podcast. Just a suggestion: it'll be helpful to all kinds of listeners (both the patient ones and the skippers), but esp the patient ones, if the timer during your intro is much smaller/subtler. Right now it is so large and visually distracting in video, I can barely hear you! I know the easy solution is to just ignore the video, but then that makes it redundant.
Ofcourse this might just be me!
