Hey everyone welcome to todays video! Today I'm transforming my dining room. This diy was one of the most simple projects that really made a huge impact in the dining room space. The wall looks good, love the color. A bit concerned that the frames are just leaning on the ledge, wouldn't want the wall to get bumped by kids or dogs and have any of them fall. Curious - what did you do with the hutch that was there? Hope you were able to repurpose it to another area. TY

I plan on commanding them to the wall once I figure out where I want them but everyone knows to stay away right now haha

What you had was good before, but this looks like what was meant to be there. Especially with a smaller house, I find that minimal always looks better! Great job!!

I have always added brick, wood, crown molding to rooms it really makes it look more custom. Going to watch now but I already know I will love it. I have mixed my own paints to paint alot of my furniture now thats custom! OMG, I knew i'd love it Karrie!
I mix my own paints for my home. Beats buying so many samples that don’t work.

Absolutely gorgeous!! I love your china closet. I actually painted mine after watching you paint yours a very long time ago… But agree it just weighed the space down. This makes it look so much lighter. I am obsessed with that sage green color now too. Have to find a room in my house to use it in now. Lol. Beautiful work!

Did I hear you say that you used mdf for the wood? How wide are the wood strips that you used? How about the cap board? Is it the same width as the others? Thank you for any info you can share. Dining room looks enormous now! And very soft and elegant looking.
Way way better. Green is my favorite color and that shade is actually in my kitchen with linen white wainscoting. I love it.
I’m not a big fan of farmhouse decor when it’s overdone, but your farmhouse decor, is pure perfection. Not overwhelming or gimmicky (which is a big no no in my line of work-home stager) I swear you need your own tv show. Seriously, you are very talented.

Looks really good! You could use a little poster putty on the bottom of the frames to help secure them. It is just enough to prevent slipping.

I love the wall. You did such a great job on it. My husband is in hospice care at home but before he got sick we were fixing up our old farmhouse. My house was built in 1890. I have lived her 26 years. This is the second ho around fixing it up.

I like the color you used. It makes it look warmer and inviting. One thing that I would add is a rug under the dining room table to make it cozier.
