      Same here! Newer horns are just boring and more painful on your ears

      Yes! Vintage Simplex alarms always sound great when they sound together.

    Sounds like my Alma Mater back when I attended it. We had a Simplex system sent to continuous and Code 3 in the 9th grade academy

    Is this in Georgia? I’m looking for fire alarm tech apprenticeship work in Georgia. I want to become a tech as I’m very passionate about fire alarm systems. I’m good with computers and have plenty of knowledge on fire system hardware and have knowledge on many fire alarm products which I have learned about through researching manuals and watching videos. I specifically like to work on Simplex products and Simplex is the brand I’m most familiar with. However, I still have knowledge on lots of other brands whether they be mainstream (like Simplex, EST, or Honeywell) or obscure/no longer in business (like Standard Electric Time).

    Just a tip, if you want to draw more views make the thumbnail have a 2903 in it

    2:58 - Looks like a 2903-9005.

      How can you tell the difference between the 2903-9001 and the 2903-9005?

    • @bruh3120
      @bruh3120 8 месяцев назад

      @@deniskanley The 9005 is dual-bulbed while the 9001 is single-bulbed

    Is the panel a 2001 or a 4002

    • @bruh3120
      @bruh3120 9 месяцев назад

      Its Actually a 4100ES

    • @johndeerefan725
      @johndeerefan725 9 месяцев назад

      It probably was one of those panels before that 4100ES was put in.

    • @deniskanley
      @deniskanley 8 месяцев назад

      From the age of the alarms, I'm guessing it was originally a 4002, but then it got upgraded to a 4100es.

    March time or t3 is better

    • @vintagesimplexfirealarmsof6440

      Fr but continuous is nice

    • @deniskanley
      @deniskanley 8 месяцев назад

      It would be nice, but in this case March time or t3 wouldn't work because of the booster panels having a delay in the system, and especially march time because the 4100es doesn't support march time coding silenceable, so continuous is really the only option that this system has available.
