come back here to say i found the solution to the hip problem, the main issue is that these figure use a new T shape hip joint mold, the ball joint that connect the legs is much shorter than the old joints that they used in the older figures leading to the legs clashing with the hip joint that connect it to the torso so the solution is that you can simply replace these figures T shape ball joints with the older figure joints if you have any spare parts that is
I knew something was up. Never did i think they would change the T shape hip joint. I'm having a similar issue with my Shredder, not as egregious, but at least now I can see about replacing that joint
@ yeah i was customizing my joytoy figure but then I noticed my old steel legion figure t joint look off so i took it apart and compared it to these figures joints then I noticed the joints in the new figures is shorter, the joint i took was from the steel legion line dunno if other old figures have the same compatible t joint
@@SkellywagsTV or you can shave the edge of the legs ball socket a little bit, just to make enough room for it to move without clashing with the joint that connect the torso to the hip
You're right. Had a look at my older figures. The previous male bucks used a different T joints for their hips. Their ball joints are slightly smaller but the had a longer middle bar. The new standard T joints were previously used for their female bucks such have larger ball joints. Would be good to have an amalgamation of both
Cool looking figs, but bummer about the QC issues/design choices. Nice review, Skelly! (Cool accessories, these figures make my toys in the '80s lame. Heh.)
Thanks man. Yeah, the leg issues suck, but I'm still enjoying them for what they are. They definitely look so much better than toys I had back then too!
Good idea, Ben! I don't have the Rego army builder, but I have two Rego's and the scuba army builder. Might have to check what I can switch around. Cheers mate!
Thank you for this review. This set was tempting me.
Thanks BRB! Yeah, they look great, but straight out of the box have issues. Very nice designs though

@@SkellywagsTV oh yeah
That hip problem would drive me crazy !!!!Then I’ll end up doing something crazy like super glueing it.🤪💀
Yeah, the leg popping off is just really bad. I might just request a new one, and wait a year before I get the replacement...
@@SkellywagsTV A year!!!! You’re gonna wait so long that your daughter will be in high school by then.😳 We need our plastic crack now!!!💀

Ive just had these delivered and am now very worried 😂😞 not opened yet so hoping mine are okay 😐
I've learned to work around the articulation limitations, but hopefully you don't get a dodgy leg that just pops out easily!
Hmmmm these look great. I have a suggestion, Maybe the yearly armor builder of the Rego bucks (black version) crutch piece would help that issue. ^_^

I am sorrowful that my wallet is empty. 😢
Aaaaaahhhh!!!😂😂😂 love it!!
Lol
Didn’t these come in a squad of four?
Yes, they did. The sergeant major looks very similar to the Assaulter, so I just decided on getting three. Gotta watch today pennies!
