About Michelle Goldstein:
Michelle has maintained a daily yoga practice for 18 years. A protégée of renowned Power Yoga teacher, Bryan Kest of Santa Monica Power Yoga, Michelle has been teaching yoga flow and meditation for 13 years.

I couldn't ever imagine what a yin practice could do to my body and soul. It was so profound that I felt this urgent need to cry, even though I have no major reason for this. Since being in lockdown I have done this beautiful restorative class many times and each time something different strikes me from Michelle's intelligent and insightful dialogue, such as the idea of being a 'heart alchemist'. I normally like my yin classes pretty quiet but it is a particular treat to have the perfect combination of postures with profound commentary. Thank you for restoring me through lockdown!

Dear Michelle, Thank you so much for this yin yoga class for surrender. I enjoyed starting my day this way. I can relate so much to what you said about making self care a priority. This autumn I noticed that as you said, we are what we repeatedly do and so I made an intention to take the qualities of yin into my life more and more and it has been so nourishing. I loved the way you used the props in the gentle inversion, so simple and effective. I also loved your configuration of the body in the windmill twist for the kidneys, it felt incredibly tonifying for my kidneys. I have been doing this session each weekend for the last few weeks and I am finally learning poses. I'm slowing my practice down to focus on relaxing and learning. Now I have found myself being able to do 20 minutes in fish pose before work in the week. Thanks so much for your contribution to my change in my yoga practice..💚
I have been in bed for a week due to wisdom teeth removal and thinking how to go back to a daily practice without it being too harsh for my body to restore.

I love when you talked about surrendering but not giving up. You actually needed to surrender away from ebb and flow in order to make it through the brief hiccup in thought process 😚

Every instructors style and commentaries are different so it’s a personal choice for the student to listen or not. Most important is the physical aspect of the practice doing the poses correctly and knowing it’s ok not to strain your body and move into or out of the poses with ease.

this was so amazing n just what i needed, yesterday i am had a situation and I felt my ego reactive it tooks sme tears and a few Abraham hicks video , I got my power back and choose to be present with what is and it did work itseld it out this was a perfect practice

Michelle, I love you thank you so much for this, as I sit in my car, reflecting, I now see this sequence that I did this morning along with 13 min of meditation is working for right now, now in this moment. It's 12:42pm, I haven't even had lunch ( Ms Hangstress comes in around this time loll). However today dealing with some emotional triggers I was able to be calmer than usual, alot moreeee, lol. I was able to breath, finding a better feeling 💭 thought. Anywhoooooooooo, love thank u
