I have a 2018 Keystone Fuzion M369 toy hauler. I used to tow it with a 2019 f250 SRW gasser. Traded that in a few months ago and bought a 2016 F350 dually platinum edition. Man what a difference in towing capability!!! Man do I feel so much better on our 1st trip this weekend!!!!!💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's. I love the Beacon, it's like a high end condo. And it seems priced very well. Doing the math, it's extremely affordable as well. Gorgeous.
And while I'm a TT guy: this is one gorgeous unit! I would change just a few things, but mostly it checks all the right boxes. Happy father's day and stay safe.
Hope the quality has improved the last couple of years. We were interested in a Beacon when shopping 5thwheel’s. We looked at three new units that had just arrived at the dealership. Two of the three had interior trim and cabinets falling apart or laying in the floor. Also stain and wood trim left a lot to be desired. While some was flawless other pieces felt like it missed the sanding stage before being stained. Tried to communicate these issues with the dealership and they said they hadn’t had a chance to fix them up yet . Also called Tiffin and they weren’t interested in talking about it . So needless to say we didn’t buy a Beacon or Van Leigh product. Talking to a few people at camp grounds I’m glad we didn’t.
If you look closely at the tile work it looks like a three-year old did the grout. For that kind of money I'd expect more. Makes you wonder what else is done half-assed?

Nice unit. I could easily live in a fifth wheel this size and it is MUCH better than the units I have lived in before. (90 to early 2,000's)

I agreed with the counter top at the back, could have done something there, also for the size of the rv i was a bit disappointed in the bathroom size. It just seemed mediocre. Great review.

You showed the slide left of the door, but I think I saw some form of bee nest on it. You might want that dealt with if it really is a nest. Beautiful rig. Would love to own one someday. Everyone has a dream.
We have a KZ Durango gold 42. Very similar, very livable. We plan on living in it while building. There is an option to put the privacy curtain in. One change we made which was HUGE. We changed the bed to Queen and put a regular rv mattress UNDER the new Sealy pillowtop, like a boxspring. It feels just like home. We have the same mattress at home as well. So jealous of the refridgerator with icemaker. We have a Norcold no icemaker. Barely freezes except in the back left corner. Love the RV
Beautiful unit..for the price I would have expected the 3 camera system included. Also, even though i have had good luck with Westlake tires, I would have expected Goodyear tires as i believe they are definitely an upgrade and more worthy of this unit. Supply issues?? 1st thing i would do is upgrade the tires.
love your videos. awesome RV. but I must say, I'm very disappointed that it doesn't have a locking bathroom door.?! like REALLY!? that's so basic. if traveling with people, you won't feel comfortable taking a poop 💩 or shower 🚿. and yes your right, that bathroom door latch is LOUD! ALSO completely agree that they should have a nice durable ceiling track so you can divide the Living room for privacy if you have guests sleeping there. both for their comfort and yours if u wanted to use the kitchen late at night....
I would have thought especially from a more high end Fifth Wheel unit that the master bedroom bath would have dual sink basins and a much larger shower.
We have a 45 class a pusher and we almost never are in the bathroom at the same time. I feel it’s a waste of space in ours.
Nice video. We had a similar floor plan in an Alpine. The lack of windows almost made us go crazy as we needed natural light and sight lines out. We now have a Vilano 390LK and love it. Quality from Van Leigh is second to none.

@@Spoolingturbski About a year. 1 dual Payne window failed, 1 Jack was leaking when we bought it, skylight recall. All were covered under warranty. We love it. I mentioned windows, there is almost 360 degrees of windows, it makes a huge difference. The outside walls are gel coat, not filon, so easier maintenance and they are not fading. All wiring is organized, and color coded. Pluming all comes to one point, and it’s accessible. The construction is so well thought out.

Beautiful trailer would be great to retire and drive across country in one. I'm still young and prefer my tent and tote camping for now.

It looks like they put the USB ports on the front of the theater seats rather than inside the seat where it can break the connector. Very smart! It would be nice to have a desk in the front living area instead of two couches.
The Luxe 41GMD has leveling pads the size of manhole covers, the Beacon doesn't have that. I almost bought one of these, they are nice, Luxe is better built I feel.
Wow! I hadn’t ever heard of Vanleigh. I really like this one. My only issue-no place to really set up a home office or Sewing Room. It’s my thing. Sewing is my happy place. Not sure I could travel and not be able to sew/machine embroider at some point. It is beautiful tho
I think it’s just ok, not great. The storage space is ridiculously minimal! Most of the cupboards are so tiny that they sure wouldn’t hold hardly anything, and nothing big. I don’t know why they go all out on such beautiful kitchens, when they don’t give you any space to bring anything to cook with..lol It’s true!! I’m sticking with my beautiful 2016 RV that has a ton of storage, until storage comes back in style. I’m not kidding! 👍🙏🏼🌷 Great job on the video!!
Great video and that's an amazing 5th wheel but it's too dark in color for us.
Agree, way too dark inside. Can’t manufacturers listen to what the public want - brighter, modern interiors. No wonder some owner redecorate the interior of brand new RVs.
I imagine the guests pulling the curtain for privacy in a few minutes later the entire fifth wheel begins to shake 🤣😂

Absolutely beautiful !! I love the whole thing. The wood tones throughout the trailer is beautiful , and the storage in the kitchen is awesome. The bathroom is a little plain but I don’t know what I would do differently. To be setting on the living room furniture with the cold A/C running would be a dream come true. Because only in my dreams could I have a fifth wheel like this one. Thanks for sharing. I hope you have a fantastic Father’s Day ♥️
Beautiful. But want a 4 season insulation package as I live in Pac NW and cold climate. Lots of snow in winter and summers can be killers with 100 degree plus months. Is it possible to pay extra for custom insulation?

I don’t know if you have talked about placement of the fifth wheel? I am a medically retired trucker, the placement of the fifth wheel is also very important to know not just for clearance of the trailer and cab, but also for weight distribution.
When I see something this ginormous, I wonder how a Dodge Ram V10 would perform with it...
I'm astounded GM never tried to make a KC series with one. I believe Ford does make one truck with V10s.

Hi, I’d like to see a comparison between this unit and the Grand Design Solitude 375RESR. I like the larger tanks and lack of floor heater vents on the Solitude. It also has a living room curtain that our adult guests have used. Also, I like storage and don’t need a wine fridge. I own a 2022 Covid-19 375RES. The quality control for the years 2021-22 are horrible. Had I known this, might’ve gotten this Beacon. I would be interested to see what you would find in a straight up comparison. Thx JB

Nice unit .only one cons for me is shower which looks pretty basic cheap and ugly.white will not last white for long and will turn to different shade.I think if will use tile looking shower will look much better for this luxury nice unit.otherwise good presentation 👍

For the money these things cost I’m always glad I went with a bus instead. Even new and updated feels a bit like 80’s mobile home construction instead of a luxury build. The ceilings and the way they do the slides are built just scream early 00’s

OK so I'm not so impressed for the price. I don't want to be negative, and I think the overall product is good so I would prefer for this just to be interpreted as my own constructive criticism. 1. Dual kitchen sinks. Definite no for me. If you are cooking with large pots and pans you need one big sink to clean them. 2. In the video some of the cabinetry and doors seemed to flex a little. Gives the impression of cheap materials, that said they are light which is good and perhaps flexing while in transit is a good thing. They just don't convey 'luxury' as per the title. 3. Bathroom shower is too small. 4. At this price point I would expect subtle LED lighting, like around the bathroom sink(s) or living area, or floors ceilings etc. Multicoloured LEDs are so inexpensive and would add a really nice touch to give mood lighting etc. 4. It's too dark - the white linen product is more appealing in my view. Maybe not great for a family with kids who like to play with their food (!) but you get my point. 5. Are the cable stops missing from the upper cupboard doors right of the fridge? 6. The overhead lights above the main bed - these look like the cheapest option they could have gone for. Even on slide in campers they have led lights which can be moved or rotated - these look like $2 lights. 7. Is it me or is the TV in the bedroom not centered. Two things wrong here - one you have to look up at the TV as the bed is lowered - over time this will damage your neck. Two - one of you is going to have to be looking right all the time to see the TV while relaxing in bed. All sounds really negative I know but these things would matter to us and we wouldn't buy at that price point. I would like to know which manufacturer's slide system they use if you have that information?

Good luck getting that rig int most campgrounds. I have a Kenworth T680 pulling a 35’ fifth wheel and we are very limited to where we can take that current rig, and we are 65’ in total length🤨🤨. Big rig friendly campgrounds don’t really mean big rig friendly.

The Smiths out of Roanoke Texas oh, we had our trailer totaled out by a big truck and trailer with wind damage, we are looking at new trailers, I have looked at a 27-foot trailer which weighs 5440 lb, are other trailer was only 25 ft, we have a Ford F-150 with a coyote engine and a tow package, do you think this would be too heavy for my truck

Bigger axles (8000lb), 17 inch goodyear 10 ply tires, all OEM installed. Amish built cabinets with Dovetailed drawers. Drawers are ALL wood. Less than 200k as well.

Coaches with 3 Axels are usually Toy Hauler 5th Wheelers. The 3rd axel supports whatever cargo you want to put in the coach.

This is decent but I based on the video caption, I expected much more. There are really some that look like mansions but this isn't one if them.

I wonder if this is an RV that is stationed somewhere or is this RV taken to RV parks. Because of it's size, I know it is more difficult to find RV parks. I know they are cutting down more trees, to fit these large RVs, which is sad, but it is a necessity.
I have no doubt as to quality, but the decor and style predates Mrs Cunningham’s kitchen in Happy Day’s……. maybe it’s a cultural thing, but they always seem to look dark and old fashioned….. but then, the buyers may well be older Americans and this is what they want……

If you pulled this rv with a 1 ton or F450, wouldn’t you be over the 26,001 gvwr that requires a CDL license? That is so confusing to me.
One that's not a bad day that's a nozzle to spray your toilet to clean it too I think we definitely have difference of opinion on what luxury mansion is. There is nothing spectacular about this fifth wheel. 😔
You are 100% accurate with this comment. I would call this an OVER PRICED middle end 5th wheel. You can save a ton of money by buying a Cougar 5th wheel for $80k less or buy 2 for the price of this..... Very sad

At 9:43 you can see where the employee got happy with the nial gun (shoddy workmanship). And patching in a panel with an annoying trim piece. I'm most certain this happens throughout the fifthwheel. For $100.000 plus this is shameful!!! The front closet looks like something in a very inexpensive travel trailer! So many many ways they have cut corners. I have a 2012 Alpine 3450RL (Keystone) that will run circles around this Beacon. I have well over 120,000 miles on my unit! Still tight as a drum. I won't even purchase a new Alpine because of the lack of fit n finish and short cuts!
Not a fan of the color scheme inside. I prefer the lighter cabinets and large single sink. So basically, I like the older model.

Any chance you can answer this. On a unit like this would a Onan generator be able to run all 3 acs and other stuff or?
Idk, but I did an experiment with my 2022 Solitude 375res. It has 3 AC’s and an Onan 5500 LP. I turned all three on Hi and it flipped a couple of breakers on the trailer and one breaker on the Onan. It wasn’t a scientific experiment because I had other items on such as TV, electric water heater, a floor fan and the refrigerator. So, I guess that probably doesn’t answer the question. On shore power I set the bedroom to 78 degrees because we’re in the other parts of the Rv where I run two of the three units normally with no problems. Hope that helps.
