  • In this video I head down to Heron Bay, just north of Dauphin Island, Alabama while fishing a saltwater slam kayak tournament. This video isn't a normal full trip video though. I actually just focus on one part of the day and highlight one highly successful pattern. That pattern is using flocks of birds, namely laughing gulls, to locate schools of shrimp that the seatrout are feeding on. When you find a situation like this you can run into literal every-cast action where you hook up nearly the instant you get your bait in the water. Check out the video and let me know what you think!
