Deadlock is such a unique mix of 2 very different genres, I think this video definitely helps MOBA players. But most of your audience came with you from overwatch, which will mute the effect inherently, so posting it on the second channel for deadlock might be a better idea. Other then that love the vid, nice refresher of the nuances of aim.
I think this is what I needed more than anything right now. Thank you for making an aim guide. I am not familiar with 3rd person shooting at all but I love MOBAs. This is the first time I feel invested in trying to aim lol
hello the "moba player" part of deadlock here, thanks for a guide for me, most of the guides are focused on the moba aspects, and often times on the basics, which after thousands of hours of LoL/DOTA are second nature, but this? this scares me. thanks!
Yup I struggled aiming for years low sense under 30% accuracy in most games. As a joke set my dpi super high and…..realised my accuracy jumped to 40% these days around 50% Most of my friends see my dpi and how little I move my mouse and call me insane but it works for me!
@@nhif33 As someone coming from console the tips in general are helpful! Compensating aim with movement helped me a lot even on controller. The basics are pretty much the same.
*DEAD* lock. Its not you its us. Game isnt getting the traction it deserves. A few months from now and you'll be back on the Slopwatch like Daddy Keller wants you to be, sorry but its true.
It's literally a play-test 😅 like.. it hasn't even officially launched, it's patched fortnightly and with significant changes at times. It's amazing it's got the playerbase it has :P
genuine question, how the hell do you play with sensitivity like that? I started reducing my sensitivity as I noticed my aiming is trash possibly due to imprecise movements related to sensititivity, and now I'm at 0.6 sensitivity on 1800 dpi so that is 1080 edpi compared to your 320 edpi - roughly 3 times higher than you now it takes me a full movement from side to side to do a 180 deg turn, which is common in deadlock as there is a lot of movement, the game is dynamic, and so on and so on you could say my space is small - maybe, I don't know, for any other game it's been sufficient, but still, three times my mouse space? that's like 3/4 of the whole desk, and I bet you it's not a small one. So I'm just trying to comprehend - how? how does it work? how are you able to make movements with such sensitivity? How do you turn?

Also I agree about aimlabs, I put a few hours into it and saw immediate results
5:40 so important, everyone aims differently, copying is futile

@@RyuLightorb exactly! Try what works for you and tweak it with time.
Bro got cooked by jay3 and changed games
Would you recommend trying to match Deadlock's sens with the sens used in OW?
yes it's a good starting point but on average I think deadlock is faster so you probably wanna go a bit higher
Great guide for us shooter noobs!

@@TRACTOOOOOOOOOR thank you I didn’t wanna waste time by watching this just to realize it only for pc
Ah yes, the logo with “C” instead of “L”
Dang I'm playing with .28 in game sens with 1600 dpi. Half your sens is nuts.

It's still in semi closed alpha state, we'll have to see what happens when it becomes completely open to play and polished.

Woow i play 0.4 800 dpi, and sometimes its still fast for me
