I bought the p365 grip module when Wilson Combat first released it. Absolutely love it.... Since I always carry it with the pinky extension, I decided to buy the XL module from them and turn my Sig into a p365X... Couldn't be happier with both the standard and the XL grip modules! :)
I'm thinking of doing the same thing, actually. I think I'll end up getting an XL grip module and magazines once my Tier-1 Concealed appendix rig gets here.
Yes! My next "build" is going to be taking the fire-control group from this P365 and building out an XL with the XL Wilson Combat Grip Module for Winter carry.
Yeah. It really helps. I might have to try the extra weight for shoot ability, but one of the things that I really like about the P365 is how light it is when I'm carrying it.
Agree it’s a necessary upgrade, I really wasn’t a fan of my Sig M17 until I got the Wilson combat grip, it made it a much better shooter and now a favorite of mine.
Yep. Totally agree! I already liked my P365, but the Wilson Combat grip just makes it more comfortable and easier to grip onto. I really do feel like it should be mandatory!
@@sawtoothtactical404 I love my Wilson Combat P365 grip modules. I bought one in tan as well. The difference is like screwing with or without a condom.

After about 3500 rounds through my P365xl - I had hit wall. I was struggling to improve my accuracy, my split times, and my transitions. I put the Wilson Combat grip module on - and voila, immediate improvement. The ergonomics improvement dramatically stabilized my grip. It felt like I had bought a cheat-code. The first day out improvement in both 10yrd Failure Drills and 25yrd Controlled Pairs was remarkable.
Yep. That's the cool thing about the P365. I have four grip modules, the standard and the Wilson Combat and the XL and the Wilson Combat XL and two slides, the regular one and the comped X-Macro slide with a Holosun 407K on it. It makes for a lot of different carry configurations. Generally, I use the Wilson Combat XL grip with the comped slide and optic and a Streamlight TLR-7 Sub light all the time now, though.
Just got mine in the mail, literally. Glad to see it fits my baby hands. Still waiting for the tungsten weights to come in and the lima 365 green laser. Hope this makes the gun shoot well when I go to the range with it. Planning on upgrading(more than likely) to an aluminum module eventually. Next mod will be the spectre comp slide then mostly be done. Don't need a red dot on a concealed carry,,just the laser. Hope my small of the back hybrid holster works well when it comes in. Glad you like yours
@@sawtoothtactical404 definitely should. Especially since you like that pinky finger mag. Doesn't add much in size and now you can have 13 rounds. Biggger beaver tail on the xl also.
Nice you got it! I was one of the guys who pushed ya to do it! Not that you did it cuz of me. Lol. I went with the xl grip with the standard slide myself. So the x basically. Have big hands so made sense to me. Will probably end up putting an xl upper on it though
Yeah. I appreciated your recommendation, for sure! You were definitely right. It makes a big difference! I'm thinking of getting the XL grip and mags for Winter carry and use the regular one for summer, when it's easier to print wearing just a T-shirt. Might do the XL slide with an optic, as well. I like the idea of having multiple configurations of the same gun.
I agree & thank you for your content! Per your input, I purchased and installed the Wilson Combat P365 Grip! WOW! Much better and the ONLY mod I will install on this otherwise well designed & made CC pistol to make it a bit more comfortable, reliable, accurate & a safer self defense pistol! I agree that it is an improvement over the OEM grip module!
Right on! I'm really glad you like it. It's the only modification I've made to my P365, as well, and I'm not sure it really needs anything else. I like to add lights and red dots to my other guns, but for my carry gun, I actually like it pretty compact and basic. As long as it's reliable, accurate and ergonomic, that's just about all it needs to be and the P365 with the Wilson Combat grip module is all of those things.
I bought two, the black & coyote (Tan) colored. The only problem I had, I needed and lucked out. I found somone who had one and installed the mag release button. I would have never been able to do it. The store I went into sales people ran away & one guy who ownes the same thing was glad to help. He also suggested I buy the 3 tungsten weights Wilson selld for 20.00. He says they help as well. The P365 is a snappy litle bitch. anything to help I like. It is like having a new gun. Great video.-I hope some of your viewers take it seriously. Anyone who does not at least does not try it is like nuts. The difference is like fucking with or with out a condom.
Hahahaha. That's a good comparison! It really does make all the difference in the world. I haven't tried the tungsten weights, because I carry it every day and part of the reason I chose the P365 for my carry gun was to have something nice and small and light, but I'm sure they make the gun more shootable. Honestly though, the P365 shoots much better than most other similar sized guns I've shot.
Wilson Combat looks nice but I think it would need a hogue grip on top of it to get an even better purchase. 3/16th larger on WC grip isn’t much. What are your thoughts on Icarus Precision module grip?
The Icarus Precision grip modules are VERY nice. I've held them at my local gun store and they feel great. Very expensive, though. I'm about to start a build series on my P365. I think I'm going to go with the Wilson Combat XL grip module and an XL optics-ready slide with a red dot and a light for winter carry.
Nice video. Why didn't you measure it? I wanted to see what the actual size difference is. I agree, the 365 grip is a bit too small for my meat-hooks when drawing & putting on target quickly. I catch myself repositioning my hand after initial draw. Thank You.
I found myself doing the same thing with the original grip. I don't have that issue as much with the Wilson Combat grip module. The size difference isn't huge, but it's noticeable. I'll have to take measurements and make another video, at some point.
