Exploring the markets of Downtown Amman عمان، الأردن 🇯🇴

One of my favourite things to do when travelling is to visit markets because they are often one of the busiest and most vibrant areas of a destination.
I wasn’t sure exactly where to go, but on the hunt for the Jordanian capital’s Gold Souk I began exploring the markets of Downtown Amman, meeting some locals along the way.

I know you said that u wouldn’t live there but u gotta understand that downtown amman is like old town, and amman is huuuuge so this is just a small part of it. if you would to live in jordan it would be places like boulevard/ abdali , abdoun, dabouq, khalda. These places are modern like dubai and we got uber everywhere and all restaurant chains. I’m jordanian and last time i’ve been to downtown is like 10 years ago haha

Oh yeah, I completely get that. It's a great city, and I would definitely visit again, but just not for me living-wise.

It is not a place to live in! That’s why the majority of people are desperate for immigrating to western countries, USA, Canada, Australia etc.
