The Jordan series is probably Mark's best piece of work so far. He was specifically invited by the Jordan Tourism board, and he did a wonderful job in conveying the delicious foods that Jordan has to offer. I'd love to visit Jordan just for the food alone featured on these videos, so mouthwatering.
I really love the look on the owners faces when Mark tries all of their delicious foods. They really enjoy watching someone love their food so much. Even his friends seems super proud to be sharing some of his favourite foods and places to eat with him. It really is my favourite part of each video. :)
Misty Posey you are so right! I start my day off watching one of his videos. I wish everyone had a friend like him. I have so much I wanna say about him and His wife and sweet Micha! Great family. His dad too. 🥰
I have been to Salt and LOVE Salt! I love Jordan PERIOD! As a food columnist and food blogger, it is a dream! The food the people... I visited some amazing places including Petra and Dead Sea, Wadi Rum, Mt. Nebo, River Jordan. Look forward to exploring Amman and Agaba in the future.
my husband is from Jordan and I also lived there for a year. beautiful country just in a sad location. if we could take our income from here to there I would.move back in a heart beat. the people, the food, the culture I lived right in Jarash and also in Amman. we lived with his parents in Jarash. oh how I miss Jordan. we are praying for the day we can take our son to meet his teh teh and Jido. May Allah protect all of us. whether there or here.
Yeah, it's when you come across these people in person and meet them you realize the media has been feeding us with falsehood. People in the middle-east lead normal lives just like anybody does.
Jodie Brook I live in this shithole, trust me, you would think it's a good country, stay here for more than a month and go to school here, you'll see what Jordan is really like
@@luay2805 not everyone's lives are like yours, don't talk in general. Look at the bright side of the things and remember, life's a journey and a story, a story without no hardships or at least little ones is a boring one, I get happy whenever I cross a hardship, it'll make my story more exciting, you know give it its special charm! Think of your story from 3rd petson prespictive, or a novel or a story of life, it doesn't HAVE to be like movies, but it has it's own little charm. Peace from Jordan!
Mark, one of your BEST vlogs EVER! The bald headed man explaining the different foods was so affable, sweet and engaging. I hope we will be seeing more of him. It appears that the people of this land are incredibly lovely and hospitable. Just great faces of kindness, generosity and welcome.
Mark I have always liked food but didn’t realize until watching you how much I love food. Every time you take a bite of anything my mouth waters excessively. I love your sincerity and thanks for your passion.
Thank you Mr Wiens for your good work all that time. I've been watching your travels for a long time. I find that your travel to Jordan was your best of all.
Anytime life gets in the way... i just put on mark weins and his genuine, one of a kind expressions... makes my day and I'm wanting to experience all those wonderful foods he try's. Awesome!
I have literally been doing nothing but watching Mark's videos since last night. I love Mark, Ying, and Micah!!! Love watching Mark's reactions to food...oh wow. lol
Although Zaatar is Arbic for Thyme, the Zatar powder sold is acrually a mix, sometimes called Duggah, it includes summaq, sesame, oregano, and maybe roasted checkbeans
Isnt zatar wild oregano? I'm getting confused here.. The herb I call in hebrew Timin which i thought was thyme is different than the herb I call zatar or ezov which is wild oregano
I am very pleased with the way you and Ying represented America and Thailand. You should be proud of the invitation to do so....and I hope you are invited to other countries in the Middle East and Europe by other tourism groups!!!! #travelchannel #discoverychannel #jordantourismboard
what i really like about mark is he never give negative comment about any food rather enjoyed it with his trademark expressions of joy. Mark you are the best food vlogger
We are so fortunate to have you on screen its because of you we are able to take a round trip of all country where we cannot be physically present really delighted to see food of different coutries

@Kay Flip He's half Chinese half white. I don't know where you get the idea of Asians being peaceful and harmless? Ever seen slave shops or farms with forced labour? Animals used for entertainment being tortured and tied up 24/7? And all of the conflicts/wars that have occured amongst Asian countries.

Zaatar is actually Thyme, not a mix of herbs,we add baked sesame seeds to it,but the word Zaatar alone means Thyme,
It have summaq, so that makes it herbs I guess
Zaatar is oregano with toasted sesame
what is called zaatar is the hyssop herb (just checked it again to be sure)
Although Zaatar is Arbic for Thyme, the Zatar powder sold is acrually a mix, sometimes called Duggah, it includes summaq, sesame, oregano, and maybe roasted checkbeans
Isnt zatar wild oregano? I'm getting confused here.. The herb I call in hebrew Timin which i thought was thyme is different than the herb I call zatar or ezov which is wild oregano
