More than one Thai local has told me that the View Talay are cursed, especially the View Talay 6, where people ‘fall’ off the high balconies to their ends, sometimes for financial or heartbreaking reasons, but some ruled ‘accidental’ (drunk?). Regardless, she said I cannot rent there or else she would not visit.
I started riding these motorbikes in 2009. It took me a solid 3 years to get up the nerve and then I practice riding in my parking garage for about a week before I hit the road. 😀 All of the bikes I have ridden have been automatic.
Ahem Thomas, I hate to interrupt your day in paradise but reality is rearing its ugly head. Yep, the Chiefs need you back in Kansas City. I've been reviewing their season and they are not the same team they were the last two seasons... and by a long shot! Virtually every game this season they won by just one score and in the last minute of the game and by a miracle. They need all the help they can get from their fans. They need true blue fans willing to spend a $1,000USD for a ticket and turning blue from the cold. Fair weather fans are negative karma. Tom drinking a margarita in an al fresco sports bar in Pattaya with a "cheerleader" sitting on his lap giving him a lap dance every time the Chiefs make a score is not going to cut it. You have enough time to fly to KC in time for Saturday's game. If the Chiefs don't win the Super Bowl it will be your fault!
@@robertcarlclayton7724 Yeah I know. And they've probably come closest to winning the Super Bowl more than any team in history. If there is any team that deserves to have a Super Bowl dynasty it is Andy Reid and the Chiefs.
I'll tell you guys, the Chiefs haven't been their selves for a long time. Everything is off some how. The Mahomes magic has shown through in the last minutes of more than half of this season always coming down to the last minutes of the game. The offensive line has clearly sucked as Mahomes has been sacked 36 times this season alone. Travis Kelce is another flop as well. (btw, I love Kelce) I think he's only had 3 touch downs and I don't know if he's ran for more than 10 yards for any completion this year. I've seen him miss so many passes. Kelce's should be in his prime but is definitely in decline mode. Fortunately we have these up & coming guys like Worthy & Hunt that have really stepped up. The KC defense is another thing, What's up with playing only half the game. I've seen the #1 in football and #16 in football all in the same game. The Chiefs have a lot of talent the keeps saving them. Mahomes is awesome but he doesn't have the fire that Purdy or Jackson has, much less the fire that Brady had his entire career. I think someone needs to put a boot in his ass. I'm a hard-core Chiefs fan but I can see the writing on the wall. I still pray for them everyday & will definitely watch them from afar.

The Golden Orchidee is an excellent restaurant with a great reputation. I think prices average around 300 baht ($9-10) a plate.

I lived in KC 40 years ago. They lost more games by one point than any team I've ever seen!
